The waterfall is beautiful. there is less crowd. The water still has blue color and there are some koi fish swim around. THE MOST IMPORTANT IS THE ACCESS TO THE WATERFALL. It’s so easy and not far away from the ticket counter. For local, the ticket price is 20k Rupiah and for tourists is 30k Rupiah. You can also get free coffee after your visit to the waterfall. The coffee counter is in front of the ticket counter. There is no chair or place to put your belongings while swimming, though. However, there’s some rock to put your belongings. In google map, it said to be open until 5 pm, but I came at a quarter to 5 pm and they still let me in. They said, they open until 6 pm for visitors that came before 5 pm.

Read moreWhat kinds of information are important to know before trekking to a waterfall? Question one: Is it a long walk to the falls? Not really. You do have to navigate about 100 meters worth of stairs and a flat walk to get to the falls. Question two: Is the walk very slippery? No, the walk is mostly dry. Thongs can be worn as long as they are sturdy. Question three: Are the falls very crowded? These falls are not overly crowded but afford an opportunity to capture the essence of Ubud. Question four: Are the falls worth adding to your itinerary? Most definitely! The canyon leading to the falls is very picturesque. You will take a stone path across pools that are filled with coi fish and others that I can't name. The hike back up from the falls might be challenging if you are not in decent shape but is manageable. I wouldn't recommend it for kids under 5 years of age unless they are carried since the walkway could get...

As soon as you park your car, you'll need to purchase tickets for just IDR 20,000 per person. Then, a short trek leads you down to paradise. The first waterfall invites you to take a refreshing swim, but the real adventure begins when you venture towards the cave at the end of the path. The cave is absolutely stunning, but be sure to bring a flashlight or use your phone's light to navigate the dark, slightly slippery terrain. If you're planning a visit, make sure to fully immerse yourself in the experience of bathing in the cool, crystal-clear waters. Trust us, you won't want to miss out on this...
