Nau villa ubud — Hotel in Pulau Bali

I am writing this review after three nights staying in these amazing villas, one more night to go before we move to another part on the island but will be very sad to leave such a beautiful place and people. So where to start, location, this is a remote location however DO NOT let this put you off at all. You get the best of both worlds by having a zen like rural beautiful tropical location with traditional villas loaded with luxury and private pool, super clean, outdoor bathroom, every mod con going, super attentive staff that go over & above every time you meet. They lay on a regular free return shuttle service into Ubud central and an on demand free shuttle service to the sister cafe/ bar with pool 'TIS' in the popular rice terrace area. Just ask the team to arrange for a driver to take you down and whats app them when your ready to go back, it's fantastic service! The villa, its brilliant, spacious, secluded, furnished to a very high standard, fridge, turn down service, cleaned every day, free fast WiFi, smart TV with Netflix subscription, safe, ample wardrobe space, robe and slippers, outdoor bathroom with the best rainfall shower ever. A massive outdoor bath, posh sunbeds with mattresses, a private pool and outside table & chairs. Loads of plug sockets, aircon, hairdryer, towels and beach towels, wireless speaker, mood lighting , outdoor lighting, vanity kits and toothbrushes, who does that!!! Basically it's top tier luxury in a traditional setting ( all based on our villa, number 1). The staff, well they are on another level for customer service, each and everyone will bend over backwards for you, they are always checking that everything is okay and to your liking and have the biggest smiles. They clean the rooms at a time that you are happy with, they bring room service and advise on places to go and how to get there. The food, if you going B&B then breakfast will be a treat as the food is to a really consistent high standard and you can see the pride they take in the preparation and presentation. They have an extensive range of dishes you can order for a evening meal if your not taking advantage of the free shuttle to Ubud or TIS (PS, TIS chef creates the menu for both locations and its bloody great). So there you have an honest review written whilst we are still here and enjoying a cocktail and a beer at the TIS bar / restaurant before having an evening meal then calling for a shuttle to come pick us up and take us back to our villa. A very relaxing stay.. This is our first stay in Ubud, and we had the best private villa experience in the middle of the rice fields with Nau Villa.

From check-in to daily services,, everything was handled professionally. The staffs are very accommodating and friendly.

*Price, yes, it is a bit higher than others, but the service and the experience you get is worth everything that you paid for..

*Food selections is a bit limited but it is enough for a week stay. Dont forget to try the floating breakfast.

*Massage is good and very professional.

*Privacy, we enjoyed it the whole time and never worry (we stayed in Villa No. 6).

*Location, this is a bit far from the city of Ubud, but they can maybe arrange a service for you to tour the city. (I say maybe because we have planned not to go anywhere and just stay in our villa).

*Road, a lot of review on this, it is narrow, but I see this as a positive, to minimize the impact on the environment while crossing the rice fields.

*Mosquito bites, yes, this is a rice field, they will try to minimize it, but bring some repellant if you can.

*Extra mile, they have a bluetooth speaker for you to enjoy, and a Netflix ready TV.. and the internet is really good.. how cool is that..

*Suggestion, maybe they can add in the menu a bigger bottle of water, like 1 litre.. I get thirsty everytime..

All in all, our stay is really unforgettable. Thank you so much Nua Villa.....

Merasakan pengalaman pertama menginap di Nau Villa Ubud saat lebaran setahun yang lalu. Hotel dengan konsep privat villa ini, memiliki 10 unit villa. Area hotel memiliki topografi menurun, mengikuti kontur terasering sawah dan hutan sekitar. Kami menginap dengan kamar tipe one bedroom luxury pool villa (160 sqm). Kami awalnya mengharapkan bisa memiliki view sawah, tapi sold out dan hanya ada pilihan view jungle. Kami mendapatkan rate promo (diskon covid). Diatas ekspektasi, untuk keramahan dan fasilitas yang tersedia, semua dalam kondisi baik dan lengkap ditengah kondisi pandemi saat itu.

Hospitality. 9/10. Ketika tiba check in, langsung dibantu oleh petugas yang membantu membawakan koper dari kendaraan hingga ke kamar. Meskipun sedang dalam kondisi pandemi, petugas on duty terlihat lengkap. Kami cek in pada malam hari, agak kesulitan menemukan hotel, namun receptionis hotel bisa dihubungi dan memberi panduan arah. Mobil kami juga dibantu untuk parkir, karena memang area parkir yang terbatas. Saat kami checkout, keramahan masih tetap terlihat, mobil kami dibawakan sampai depan lobby, bahkan SPV front office menyapa dan sangat mengaharapkan kami sudah mendapatkan pengalaman menyenangkan selama menginap di hotel. Kamar. 9/10. Ruangan kamar sangat luas, cukup dingin dan terawat. Suasana kamar dan area hotel, cukup hening dan rindang. Kami ambil kamar posisi tidak paling bawah dan tidak paling atas (ditengah). Aminities, furniture dan pelengkap kamar lainnya, tertata cukup rapi, lengkap dan bersih. Kasur cukup nyaman. Banyak bantal. Terdapat sofa. Private pool, bathup dan kamar mandi semi outdoor. Karena kamar mandi semi outdoor, jadi agak kurang tenang saat akan mandi atau buang air. He he. Lampu kamar menggunakan bohlam, menambah syahdu ketika malam hari. View dikelilingi oleh pohon rindang dan sawah. Sempurna. Kebersihan. 8/10. Area publik di lingkungan hotel masih terlihat bersih dan terawat. Untuk kamar juga cukup bersih dan terawat. Private pool bersih dan pompa kolam berfungsi dengan baik. Area drop off, lobby dan beberapa spot, terlihat cukup bersih (sedikit debu), seperti dengan perawatan seadanya. Sarapan. 8/10. Sajian sarapan berupa menu ala carte dengan setting floating breakfast. Untuk variasi sajian, sesuai ekspektasi, enak, baik dan bermacam. Saat request pesanan telur mata sapi setengah matang, disediakan sesuai pesanan. Tersedia juga beberapa pilihan jus, serta teh dan kopi. Tidak ada additional charge ketika request floating breakfast. Fasilitas. 7/10. Kami tidak mengelilingi area hotel untuk melihat fasilitas yang disediakan. Karena private pool, sehingga kami banyak menghabiskan waktu di villa. Kami hanya berfoto di beberapa spot area hotel. Cukup banyak spot foto, karena banyak kolam ikan, taman, gazebo dan bersebelahan dengan sawah. Wifi dan saluran tivi. 6/10. Koneksi wifi kurang stabil. Hanya tersedia saluran tivi lokal dengan kualitas gambar kurang baik. Lokasi. 8,5/10. Salah satu rekomendasi hotel di ubud untuk mendapatkan keheningan, pemandangan sawah dan privasi. Namun, lokasi hotel yang tidak ditepi jalan besar, sekitar 300 meter dari jalan aspal, serta papan petunjuk hotel yang tidak menonjol, tidak dilewati street view, sehingga harus sedikit lebih cermat melihat petunjuk Hotel di tepi jalan. Tidak disarankan menuju lokasi saat malam hari, karena penerangan jalan kurang serta tidak banyak warga yang melintas jika tersesat. Keamanan dan privasi. 8/10. Tidak ada portal di akses utama. Cukup privasi untuk menginap, tapi tetap ada bagian dalam villa yang bisa terlihat dari luar. Service dan lainnya. 8,5/10. Disediakan spray anti serangga dan nyamuk. Nyamuk tidak cukup mengganggu, namun cukup banyak semut pohon yang berkeliaran. Walaupun rate promo, tapi tetap mendapatkan akomodasi seperti harga normal.

Rekomendasi: Hotel bisa memberikan sign board yang lebih terlihat di tepi jalan atau arah petunjuk menuju ke hotel. Bisa ditambahkan area parkir, utamanya untuk...
