The place is nice, the food is delicious, the view is nice, everything is nice, but not for this one thing, please take note.
I stayed at the villa from 28 to 29 December, may I know who the female receptionist was from 28th night to 29th day until I checked out?
I ordered 2 spa packages for two people on 28th December, namely facial and neck and shoulder spa packages which I ordered by phone in the room, contacted the receptionist at 7 pm and was promised that the therapist would arrive at 8 pm on 28th December.
After arriving, it turned out that we got different spa packages, namely 2 Balinese spa packages that did not match what I had ordered, I was a little disappointed, I was okay with the spa but the unprofessional service to the point of receiving the wrong order was very fatal.
After that I called the receptionist to ask about it and without apologizing and unprofessionally the receptionist answered that the order was wrong.
Tomorrow after I checked out I asked the same receptionist again and the reason was that the receptionist had received my order correctly but the therapist took the wrong tool. If that's the case, why didn't you confirm it to me on the night during the spa? really unprofessional, I don't know what's right and wrong according to the reasons the receptionist said, please investigate this is unprofessional.
I paid for the villa not for free and I spent a lot at the restaurant and spa 600 thousand is just a small amount but the service is what I noticed. when checking out to pay the bill I saw that the spa chat said 2 Balinese spas, so was it actually the receptionist who received the wrong order? and they didnt offered me a compensation? i dont expect compensation i buy it but is that how they treat guest?
and there is some of unnoticed spot in the room still dirty, bedroom, sofa, walls some of it still dirty but its hard to notice.
and one last thing, PRIVACY and SECURITY in private villa. the private villa is very open and there is no fence so anyone can climb over and enter and people working in the rice fields can see us...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to head to Bali for our first time to celebrate our honeymoon, and Pinggala Villa Ubud was our first stop. We knew we wanted to stay at a villa with a private pool for good value; what we experienced was a hidden gem in a peaceful home away from home.||When I made the reservation, I requested a honeymoon surprise (extra cost) for my wife as well as an airport transfer, and Pinggala was able to deliver on both exceptionally. For those who have done research, you're probably able to find more affordable transport independent of the resorts, but since my wife and I had a good amount of luggage, we didn't want to take any risk and paid a ~$10 USD premium for piece of mind for a resort driver. Prior to our arrival, Restu, our driver, messaged me on WhatsApp and maintained constant communication. We easily found him, and during the 2-hr drive to Ubud, he welcomed us to Ubud and explained the culture and lifestyle of the Balinese people, and recommended top attractions around the area. He was extremely friendly and easy to talk to, and I highly requesting him if you require a driver (or tour guide) when visiting Pinggala.||As for the villa itself, it is situated amongst farms and rice fields in the hills, and about a 30-min drive from the town center, depending on traffic. If you're looking for a bed-and-breakfast homey type of private villa, this is the one. It was not crowded: at most, there were 3 or 4 couples or families that I had seen in the restaurant during our stay there. The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and welcoming with smiles; the restaurant was of a humble size, but as noted from other reviews, the food quality and taste were AMAZING!! My wife and I had some food during our visits to the town center, but we felt the villa food itself was just as good or even better.||We subsequently went to Jimbaran and are currently in Uluwatu, but I can say that the secluded peacefulness in Pinggala while also being within the town's reach was definitely more for us. I'd highly recommend Pinggala if this is what you're...
