Actually we only went here because it was recommended by our hotel. Supposedly you get to experience real balinese life here. Truth is we found the coffee paradise at the beginning (which is in fact awesome), a not so clean warung thereafter (they serve coconut wine but better not eat there), and after that it felt pretty much like nothing anymore. There is a small train for children transport, a giant Gong that you have to pay admission for and a restaurant. Not many people around here either. To us it seemed as if the village was dead. There were big buses with tourists coming in and out, looking at the stone carving graveyard and waking through the tourist shop butting souvenirs. Not much more to do though. True...

There was a huge modern golf driving range with restaurants and other businesses. There's a dilapidated " jogging track" and a little kiosk with a young man who wanted to charge money if I was planning to jog on the very uneven and broken up cement and mud pathway.
