The Patung Titi Banda is a must-see landmark for its artistic grandeur and cultural importance in Bali. It serves as a beautiful gateway and a striking reminder of the island's strong Hindu heritage. The Patung Titi Banda is a monumental statue in Bali, and the "review" of it is more about its majestic presence and cultural significance as a landmark rather than a traditional tourist attraction you walk through.

Here is a summary of the common visitor sentiment and key information:

Highly regarded for its deep philosophical and cultural meaning. It depicts the scene from the Ramayana epic where Lord Rama and his monkey army (Vanara) are building the Titi Banda bridge to Lanka to rescue his wife, Sita. It symbolizes mutual cooperation, loyalty, and justice. Visual Impression The statue is described as magnificent, grand, and an impressive piece of Balinese art. It's a large, high-quality, and intricately detailed sculpture that stands out. It is considered a new, proud icon of Denpasar City.

Location & Accessibility It is located at a large, strategic T-junction/roundabout where the Ida Bagus Mantra Bypass meets the Ngurah Rai Bypass, a major route connecting Denpasar to Gianyar and other key tourist areas like Sanur and Nusa Dua. Visitor Experience It is primarily a roadside landmark best viewed from a slow-moving vehicle. Its location in the middle of a busy, high-traffic intersection makes it difficult (and sometimes dangerous) to stop and admire/photograph from the base.

Best Time to See Reviewers note that it is beautifully illuminated at night, giving it a dramatic and spectacular appearance. Visiting near sunrise or sunset is also recommended for the best lighting for photography.

However, be aware that it is not a typical tourist destination where you would spend an hour walking around; it is a drive-by attraction and a spectacular piece of public art that beautifully tells a story from...

This magnificent statue is a stunning testament to Balinese artistry, bringing a legendary epic to life in the middle of a busy bypass. The Titi Banda monument, which depicts the Ramayana tale of building a bridge to Lanka, is a landmark you'll likely pass on your way to or from Sanur, and it is absolutely worth your attention. The level of detail and dynamism in the sculpture is extraordinary. You can feel the energy and determination of the monkey army as they work under Rama's command. It’s not just a static figure, but a whole story carved in stone, beautifully capturing a key moment in Hindu mythology. It serves as a powerful cultural landmark that enriches the cityscape. The only practical downside is its location. Being in the center of a major roundabout, it's very difficult to stop and admire it up close or take a clean photograph safely. It's best viewed from a slow-moving vehicle. However, it is beautifully illuminated at night, giving it a dramatic and different feel. A fantastic piece of public art that is both culturally significant and artistically brilliant. While not a destination you can "visit" in the traditional sense, its impact and beauty...

Patung Titi Banda

You can enjoy the statue of Rama surrounded by statues of monkey troops building a stone bridge. The monkeys carry stone in different styles. This is a special spot for road users who want to witness the beauty of sculpture or just take memorable photos. This statue shows the story from Ramayana. It is said that Rama went to Alengka to save Sita, who had been kidnapped by Rahwana. On their way, Rama and his troops were stopped because a vast ocean stretched before him.
