I recently visited Hutan Kota Srengseng, and while it offers a scenic escape from the urban environment, there are several areas that need significant improvement. The entrance fee of 6K for car and 3K for person suggests a level of maintenance and care, but unfortunately, the park falls short in this regard.
Firstly, the overall maintenance of the forest is lacking. Many paths are not well-kept many trashes over there which detracts from the natural beauty of the area. Additionally, the lake within the park is in poor condition, it’s visibly dirty and emits an unpleasant odor, which makes it less inviting.
These issues have a noticeable impact on the overall experience. The park's potential is undermined by its current state of disrepair, and the entrance fee does not seem justified given the conditions.
To enhance the visitor experience, I recommend that the park management prioritize regular maintenance and cleaning of both the trails and the lake. Improved facilities and upkeep would significantly elevate the appeal of this city forest.
In its current state, I would advise potential visitors to consider these factors before...

It has paved pathways for visitor to have a walk inside, just keep walking on it, and you will never get lost. It has a few hall open air area, for some event.
Some schools are coming here to let their students learn about the variety of trees and plants in this forest. Some trees have nametag with their English or Latin name, but not all of them.
If you come here, please bring your own food or drink, and dont forget to keep this area clean. Trashbin are available is some spots, but I suggest to bring out your own trash. Toilets and praying room are only available in the official building, but im not sure if its a public facility.
Its a recommended place especially on weekend, or when it has an event here. Please bring your children, nephews or nieces so they can play and learn about trees and plants, therefore they can help to keep this...
