Museum Batik Indonesia — Attraction in Jakarta

One of my favourite museum in TMII.. You need to register for entry, free of charge, but i think there is a schedule (hourly) so you may need to wait for a while if you unlucky with the time..

Most of the collection come with an explanation and you will be accompanied by a guide.. Approximately 20 minutes with guide and then you can explore by yourself..

There's many installation like : Wide Screen Video, Mannequins, Lots of Kain Batik, Statue, Photographs..

You can't bring any of your luggage inside but there is a locker...

BEST museum at TMII in the moment. The admission fee is FREE, you just need to do online register and a tour guide will guide you to explore the museum for FREE. The museum itself is one of the new attraction at TMII.

They have huge collection from many part of Indonesia. The guide itself explain everything very well and kindly. However, I believe they need to conducut the session in English when Indonesian group having a guide session...
