It's been years since I went to Ancol. The last was like 10-12 yrs ago. Last week on 15th I went there to see Green Day concert and we can all imagine how crowded and hectic it was.
the area was so packed with people with different types of activities. People came for edutainment park, picnic at the beach, for concert aand for wedding at mercure.
the place is surprisingly clean, offers you beautiful beach, fresh sea weather and breese (I saw and experiences as I went by ojol), but be careful of the traffic inside, especially when there's an event.
so here's my tip: Booked online ticke for Ancol gate in advance take public transport. you can take transjak and stop and the nearest stop or commuting by local train and get off at kampung bandan station. I strongly suggest you to take onlide ride to go inside as it will save time and money if you drive a car, park at the nearest public area such as pademangan area and continue with online ride...

Standing on pavement isn't the best so do be sure to wear comfortable shoes. As well, walking some distance to and from the venue is far quicker than relying on halted traffic nearer the venue. Related to this, exiting the venue is mainly a long and sweaty one way, packed trip as there is essentially only one way in and around the venue to...
Read moreThis beach is located right in front of Ancol Beach Mall, so we can easily find some restos and food stalls nearby. This place is one of our favorite. The beach is pretty spacious, clean, and not too crowded. The kids can explore and play a lot in here. Eventhough the sea water is not really that clean (dark and feels a little oily), but still the kids will enjoy playing on its sands. Toilet is also available. And just within 3 mins walk, you can find musholla too...
