A good place to catch sunset in Jakarta with a vast layout of the sea. You need to reserve minimum D-1 if you want to sit in the front outdoor area.

However, as I arrived, there was no waiter standby in the front of the hall of the restaurant, only a security. I was pretty confused at first where to go, until I found the waiter's reservation table was at the edge of the customer table. I think they should put the waiter who takes care of the reservation in front to make it easier for guests.

Services were slow and waiters were inattentive, one of the waiters was kinda rude. They asked us "what number is our table?" in an informal way. Like you work here, you should know better.

We also needed to order and directly paid our orders on the cashier. So people were lining up, it was a bit inconvenient. They have decent prayer room for moslem. Food was okay.

I first thought this was a nice beach club despite the rough services, but the song playlists they played were like a tiktok hits playlist. It kinda ruined the vibe personally for me.

And there also was a group gathering, I don't mind with the crowd, but the host and music they played were very loud and noisy. It was pretty annoying since they held the gathering in the outdoor upstairs area.

Another minus point is the uncomfortable chair on the outdoor seat area behind the sofa. Aesthetic but uncomfortable especially for not so tall customer, big no.

The Walking Durms is a unique spot with a lively indoor atmosphere and a great outdoor setting. The menu combines Western and local dishes, all reasonably priced and tasty. However, be aware that there are a lot of mosquitoes in the evening—definitely wear long pants. We had to request mosquito repellent, and they gave us Sofel, but the mosquitoes were pretty persistent. They might want to consider fogging the area.

There are both indoor and outdoor seating options, with two floors. I highly recommend sitting outside, as the atmosphere is much better and more enjoyable. The venue is spacious, which makes it great for events, and the staff are friendly, with clean restrooms available.

One thing to note is that unlike most restaurants where you eat first and pay later, you have to pay first here—probably because it’s an open space. If you’re coming, it’s best to use public transport or Grab to avoid paying the entrance fee for the area. The view in the evening is beautiful, though one of my friends mentioned there’s a strong, somewhat fishy smell in the air. It’s not a beachy, sticky vibe, though, so it’s still comfortable.

Reservasi melalui chat admin slowrespon, lebih cepat respon admin IG dan dibantu eskalasi langsung untuk booking. Setelah sudah konfirmasi oleh admin WD Ancol, lalu dichat lagi oleh Mba Amy personal. Menurut saya cukup bertele-tele ya prosesnya dibanding resto lain yang cukup satset dan 1 admin saja, malah beberapa resto sudah pro pakai sistem booking sendiri. Harus DP dahulu Rp 200.000 yang nantinya dipotongkan ke bill kita, bisa diterima agar tidak php.

Lokasi parkir cukup gelap, saran bisa ditambah penerangan, karena aspalnya juga ada becek dan lumpur (pas di bagian bawah posisi saat turun dari pintu mobil) sehingga tidak terlihat kalau gelap dan jadi kotor sepatu juga takut kepeleset. Area masuk ke resto juga remang-remang, dan ada yang tidak beratap jalan setapaknya, khawatir kalau hujan cukup repot juga ya.. tapi pas saya visit sih ga hujan jadi aman. Saya datang untuk bukber dan tiba di spot saya sekitar pukul 16.30. Atmosfer resto nyaman & menyenangkan, recommended untuk bawa keluarga dan anak-anak. As info, saya memilih spot di outdoor (belakang sofa pasir) yaitu di Coffe Table Sofa (tidak ada min payment) dan enak deket kasir.

Pemesanan melalui QR yang ada di meja & tidak ada buku menu fisik, jujur kalau saya dan rekan2 lebih senang buku menu fisik ya karena lebih nyaman lihatnya dan jelas. Kecewanya karena mostly menunya out of stock. Bingung deh, apa emang dibatasin atau gimana, kecewa sih. Mau pesan menu A eh kosong, menu B eh kosong, menu C juga kosong, banyak yang kosong. Sayur yang ready cuma kangkung & toge. Jadi cuma pesan menu yang ready saja (foto terlampir). Minuman pun banyak yang kosong. Waitress kurang menguasai menu. Kami tanya apa bedanya platter A dan B, dia bingung dan ga informatif. Kami tanya favorit dan rekomendasinya apa buat menu tengah eh malah disebutin semua menunya hehe. Kami pesan lemon tea pitcher untuk minum, lalu selang 10 menit (belum ramai kok) eh dibilang udah kosong jadi ga bisa nambah. Lemon tea pitcher nya enak dan segar 👍🏻 Pesan apple tea pitcher juga tapi kemanisan menurut kami. Pelayanan standarlah tidak buruk, hanya kurang informatif aja tadi soal menu. Sistemnya pesan by QR lalu langsung bayar di kasir, baru pesanannya keluar. Untuk harga ya oke lah reasonable dengan view dan lokasi yang ditawarkan. Rasa makanan cukup oke untuk standar resto seperti ini tapi kurang maksimal. Menu goreng-gorengnya juga cukup oke lah tidak buat sakit tenggorokan minyaknya. Tapi memang tidak sejago resto sebelah yang khusus seafood ya (B* Ja*) rasa dan varian makanan seafoodnya.

Area pantai cukup luas, bersih, dan asyik buat refreshing, anak-anak bisa main (tersedia ruang bilas) 👍🏻. Namun pemandangannya memang kurang oke karena agak ke sisi kanan kotor dan kedepan seperti bukit yang tanah doang. But okay buat refreshing dan chill. Saya ga ke shower room, tapi kalau toiletnya oke lah, agak becek tapi overall nyaman dan bersih. Ada kaca, handshoap, tisu napkin, dan tidak bau.

Overall oke buat dicoba. Apakah ada rencana datang lagi? Hmm bisa jadi, tapi prefer pagi/siang/sore (tidak lewat jam 18.00) dan lebih untuk snacking dan minum saja (chill & refreshing) , kurang recommended untuk makan besar. Kenapa tidak di atas jam 18.00? Karena nyamuknya buanyak banget hehehe, abis deh kaki dan tangan bentol-bentol dan selama ngobrol nepok-nepokin nyamuk. Jadi prefer sebelum gelap.
