Pasar Tanah Abang Blok C — Attraction in Jakarta

Giving a 4-star from the perspective of size, affordability and cleanliness. This place is huge, a wide variety of items you can get, from all sort clothing: shoes, hair accessories, batik, Muslim clothing, many kinds of textiles, to printing of shirts. All at very affordable price. For example, a premium quality cotton T-shirt is selling at IDR60,000 at one of a small shop. All these happening in Block B, packed with 8-storey of shops of the Tanah Abang Market. Toilets are available (cleanliness is 5/10, based on the ones that i have visited). There are lifts and elevators, though one or two units are not working. A fully air-conditioned building. And fret not, there’s also a food court at Level 8 if you get thirsty or hungry. We had a light meal at A&W fast food restaurant there. Will definitely bring my friends and relatives when they visit...

It's a really a good market to look for clothes & garment...no wonder that it is the biggest garment center in Asia...easy to go there ...but I recommend it if you want to go there, you can go by bus (transjakarta) or by train ( krl ).... it's more easy & effective..... Don't go there with your own car because it's hard to find...

Kok blok c sih?perasaan waktu itu ku ke blok b bukan c, ehtp rame bgt masyaallah, jaditu pasar ini ada blokbloknya gt gataude isinya baju semua kali apa bukan?wkkw trs kalo berangkat dari buaran ato sesudah buaran bisa naik tj nanti turun di kampung melayu trs nanti tuh jalan bentar dari halte kampung melayu naik bis kuning kaya kopaja gt apasi namanya lupa, si bis ini nganter sampe ke tanah abangnya langsung, macetnyaaa haduh, udahgt banyak bgt orang wkwk kudu bawa temen kalo yg barubaru kesini tar ilang, trs pas pulangnya kunaik tj lagi wkwkw biar adem tapi nunggu tj yg ke kampung melayu lama sekali:( udah gt sekalinya dateng ramenyaaa udubila nah nanti pas udah naik tj nya ini didalem kt bayar gt ada abang2 yg bawa macem alat apasi gituda buat bayar nah trs pas udah sampe kampung melayu si tj ini gaberenti di haltenya jd kudu jalan lagi ke halte:(( kaki aing kesian y balikbalik sakit...
