Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) is a truly remarkable destination that provides a rich cultural experience for families. Our recent visit with our kids and my husband was absolutely delightful, and we left with many cherished memories. The park itself is a vibrant and expansive showcase of Indonesiaās diverse cultural heritage, with each area representing different provinces and their unique traditions. One of the major highlights of our trip was the private electric buggy car service, complete with a driver. This feature made our exploration of the park incredibly convenient and enjoyable. The buggy was in excellent conditionāclean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Our driver was not only skilled but also very friendly and knowledgeable about the parkās attractions. He provided insightful information and interesting tidbits about each exhibit we passed, which greatly enriched our visit. Navigating the park with the buggy allowed us to cover more ground effortlessly. We could stop and explore various pavilions at our own pace, which was especially helpful given the size of TMII. The kids were thrilled with the interactive displays and the opportunity to see traditional houses and artifacts from different regions of Indonesia up close. Each pavilion is beautifully designed and meticulously maintained, offering an immersive experience into the local culture and traditions. The cleanliness and organization of TMII were impressive. Every corner of the park was well-kept, from the pathways to the rest areas. This attention to detail made our visit even more pleasant, as we could relax and enjoy the surroundings without any distractions. The staff members we encountered were courteous and helpful, further enhancing our positive experience. In addition to the cultural exhibits, TMII offers a variety of activities and attractions that kept our entire family entertained. The children especially loved the amusement rides and the bird park, which provided a fun break between educational tours. There are also numerous dining options available, serving both local and international cuisine, ensuring that everyoneās tastes were catered to. Overall, our visit to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah was a perfect blend of fun, education, and relaxation. The parkās well-thought-out facilities and the excellent buggy car service made our exploration effortless and enjoyable. We highly recommend TMII to other families looking for an engaging and enriching outing. Itās a destination that offers something for everyone, leaving visitors with a deeper appreciation of Indonesiaās rich cultural tapestry.

Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) is a fantastic theme park, perfect for family activities like rollerblading or weekend picnics. I visited before the recent upgrades, and the transformation is impressive. The branding, layout, attractions, and merchandise are now well-packaged, though thereās still room for improvement in terms of staff professionalism and management. My first visit had a rough start. I arrived at 7 a.m., hoping to beat the Jakarta heat, only to find out that the rental buggies wouldnāt be available until 9 a.m. The staff seemed unprepared, passing me from one person to another without clear answers. I ended up waiting nearly two hours without a proper queue, and considering the rental cost, it was frustrating. To top it off, they forgot to return my ID afterward. Outside of that experience, everything else was positive. Iāve visited the bird park, Komodo museum, Taman Air Tawar Aquarium, and enjoyed the cable car and rollerblading around the park with Angling (local transport). Overall, itās a well-maintained place, though a few staff members could enhance their professionalism. The bird park renovation is fantastic. The staff member handling the cockatoos was friendly and genuinely cared for the animals, which made my childās experience special. Despite the higher cost, it was worth it for the quality care and service provided. The Komodo museum is the best place to cool down, thanks to the air conditioning. The reptiles and exhibits are well-presented, though the interactive elements could be improved, and it would be great if the staff provided more information about the animals. Taman Air Tawar Aquarium is also impressive. I skated around while exploring different fish species, which added an interesting twist to the visit. As for the cable car, Iāve ridden it twice. The first experience was great, but during a peak holiday, the wait was long, and the queue area was poorly managedālike a basement with only fans and uncomfortable for children. The second time, several gondolas were out of order, with no audio guide available. The staff was indifferent to my complaint, raising questions about their training and professionalism. Some were even smoking, despite the presence of children, which was unprofessional and disappointing. Overall, TMII is well-organized and a great family destination, despite occasional setbacks. Iād recommend it, especially for its recent improvements and family-friendly atmosphere.

Yes, TMII is a mini version of Indonesia which is rich in cultures, religions, and natural resources. They have done wondeful job in upgrading the facilities so it looks neat, clean, and lots of good spots for pictures. There are lots of space for parking outside or indoor. They have visible parking signs so just follow the signs. As many reviewers comment, the place is huge! Please, do look their map online prior to go there. There are several big places that is pretty cool such as bird park, reptile park, and science center with separate entry fees. I enjoy tremendously the bird park especially the bird show. The park guides are knowledgeable in introducing their animals in English and Indonesia. I trully appreciate it! The size of the bird park is not super huge but perfect size for family. Komodo park is pretty cool in shape. This is partially indoor with full AC; this is good place to visit in the middle hot day. āThe science center looks interesting but I opted out for my current visit. They add new places such as Kong Hu Cu destination, I just take a picture in front of it. I take my time in Sumba or NTT and meet with Bang Eric, the host. He is friendly and super excited in sharing Sumba culture including "pohon cendana" legend. My kids try out their traditional hats which hopefully they'll remember. Overall, my family and I suprisingly are pleased with our visit to TMII. Few things to be ready: please do wear comfortable shoes and attire, bring raincoat or umbrellas, water bottles, and small snacks like bite sized bread. My only feedback to TMII is that they should have a route sign online and onsite for their shuttles and clear signage for their stops and pick up spots. We would wait in one spot and have to move to a different place because we wait in wrong place. It is a bit frustrating. Also, please have a clear signage if the certain ride is under construction. We walk quite long with HIGH expectation to ride cable car and find out it is under construction. In spite of this, I enjoy coming here.

Came here again after renovation. Bought tickets online for 35k. Took the LRT to TMII station and then show the tickets to the officer to be able to take the shuttle bus to TMII. First thing we did was riding the gondola. Ticket is 60k. You can wait for the outside shuttle to take you to the gondola station or you can walk a little further. There are some food stalls in the parking lot, and also prayer room and restroom. Then we went inside. The queue line for the inside shuttle was very long. We went to search for electric vehicle to be rented. But the information was not clear enough. It's located near let's go gelato at comtemporer gallery art. The queue line for the rented electric vehicle was around 20-30 minutes. We're given a chance to try the vehicle first before confirming to rent. Unfortunately it was raining and there's a policy that the electric motorcycle cannot be operated during rain. Thank God there's a boogie car just arrived and we rented it. The price for electric motorcycle (3 tires) 120k per hour, and for boogie 350k per 2 hours. We took the boogie to the science center and skyworld. We went back to LRT using the shuttle. But there's no clear information where's to queue. Suggestions: 1. Provide a clear sign at the TMII LRT station for the shuttle to TMII and where to queue. 2. Provide a terminal in the entrance for outside shuttle and LRT shuttle where people can queue, and also with more clear information.
