Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) is a truly remarkable destination that provides a rich cultural experience for families. Our recent visit with our kids and my husband was absolutely delightful, and we left with many cherished memories. The park itself is a vibrant and expansive showcase of Indonesiaโs diverse cultural heritage, with each area representing different provinces and their unique traditions.
One of the major highlights of our trip was the private electric buggy car service, complete with a driver. This feature made our exploration of the park incredibly convenient and enjoyable. The buggy was in excellent conditionโclean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Our driver was not only skilled but also very friendly and knowledgeable about the parkโs attractions. He provided insightful information and interesting tidbits about each exhibit we passed, which greatly enriched our visit.
Navigating the park with the buggy allowed us to cover more ground effortlessly. We could stop and explore various pavilions at our own pace, which was especially helpful given the size of TMII. The kids were thrilled with the interactive displays and the opportunity to see traditional houses and artifacts from different regions of Indonesia up close. Each pavilion is beautifully designed and meticulously maintained, offering an immersive experience into the local culture and traditions.
The cleanliness and organization of TMII were impressive. Every corner of the park was well-kept, from the pathways to the rest areas. This attention to detail made our visit even more pleasant, as we could relax and enjoy the surroundings without any distractions. The staff members we encountered were courteous and helpful, further enhancing our positive experience.
In addition to the cultural exhibits, TMII offers a variety of activities and attractions that kept our entire family entertained. The children especially loved the amusement rides and the bird park, which provided a fun break between educational tours. There are also numerous dining options available, serving both local and international cuisine, ensuring that everyoneโs tastes were catered to.
Overall, our visit to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah was a perfect blend of fun, education, and relaxation. The parkโs well-thought-out facilities and the excellent buggy car service made our exploration effortless and enjoyable. We highly recommend TMII to other families looking for an engaging and enriching outing. Itโs a destination that offers something for everyone, leaving visitors with a deeper appreciation of Indonesiaโs rich...
ย ย ย Read moreTaman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) is a fantastic theme park, perfect for family activities like rollerblading or weekend picnics. I visited before the recent upgrades, and the transformation is impressive. The branding, layout, attractions, and merchandise are now well-packaged, though thereโs still room for improvement in terms of staff professionalism and management.
My first visit had a rough start. I arrived at 7 a.m., hoping to beat the Jakarta heat, only to find out that the rental buggies wouldnโt be available until 9 a.m. The staff seemed unprepared, passing me from one person to another without clear answers. I ended up waiting nearly two hours without a proper queue, and considering the rental cost, it was frustrating. To top it off, they forgot to return my ID afterward.
Outside of that experience, everything else was positive. Iโve visited the bird park, Komodo museum, Taman Air Tawar Aquarium, and enjoyed the cable car and rollerblading around the park with Angling (local transport). Overall, itโs a well-maintained place, though a few staff members could enhance their professionalism.
The bird park renovation is fantastic. The staff member handling the cockatoos was friendly and genuinely cared for the animals, which made my childโs experience special. Despite the higher cost, it was worth it for the quality care and service provided.
The Komodo museum is the best place to cool down, thanks to the air conditioning. The reptiles and exhibits are well-presented, though the interactive elements could be improved, and it would be great if the staff provided more information about the animals.
Taman Air Tawar Aquarium is also impressive. I skated around while exploring different fish species, which added an interesting twist to the visit.
As for the cable car, Iโve ridden it twice. The first experience was great, but during a peak holiday, the wait was long, and the queue area was poorly managedโlike a basement with only fans and uncomfortable for children. The second time, several gondolas were out of order, with no audio guide available. The staff was indifferent to my complaint, raising questions about their training and professionalism. Some were even smoking, despite the presence of children, which was unprofessional and disappointing.
Overall, TMII is well-organized and a great family destination, despite occasional setbacks. Iโd recommend it, especially for its recent improvements and...
