We chose this homestay based on positive reviews, and it turned out to be a great decision. Deddy, the host, was incredibly kind and accommodating, even allowing us to reschedule our stay a day earlier. He also arranged a reasonably priced Jeep tour to Mt. Bromo for us. For the sunrise, he took us to a quieter viewpoint, away from the usual tourist crowds, which made the experience much more enjoyable. The accommodation itself is basic—a fold-out sofa with a warm blanket, and the bathroom doesn’t have a sink. However, Deddy informed us about this beforehand, and since the tour starts in the middle of the night, it wasn’t an issue for us. It’s worth noting that the homestay is located at around 2,200 meters above sea level, so don’t expect the typical 30-degree heat found in other parts of Indonesia. This homestay offers a welcoming atmosphere and an authentic experience. Highly recommended!

Fantastic service by the owner, Deddy. They carried our luggages to top floor. Their walkway is also a bit of a hassle for oldie like me because the slope is very steep but they hold our hand so that we do not lose balance. We took a room on 2nd floor. There's two queen size bed with two towels and a modern toilet. Very basic facilities. They did brought us tea. Outstanding service by owner and his family. There's no aircon or fan in the room as the weather is already quite cold so they provided in the room with thick blanket. The only negative thing is that it's a bit noisy by 2am since a lot of jeep will go through the road in front of this homestay as it's the only road that lead to Mt Bromo to see the sunrise. You can also see sunrise from the 2nd floor room. The surrounding view is still nice.

Nice: The location, the elderly staff on the property. Nice view of the non bromo hill. The elderly staff were very nice I believe they are the parents of the rude owner. Bad: The contact person of this property. I'm assuming deddy. He's very rude, unhelpful. The elderly man provided me some information that's contradicting to his, when I asked to confirm, he was rude and dismissal. Said I suppose to ask him not anyone else. (Which I didn't ask the old gentleman, he was just telling him).but when I asked him for information he ignored my questions. He also allowed his cousin to come to the property to coerce people to use his ride service. I got a grab when the grab driver arrived they intimated the grab driver he was forced to ask me to cancel the grab booking.
