nice waterfall. just like photos you see on other reviews.
a small waterfall. just for experience. I'd give it 3 stars.
the way down is hard and slippery. and loads of village people trying to get money from visitors. even local indonesian tourists from other areas visiting lombok.
notes: don't park right at the corner. keep riding the scooter until you see the rock that says waterfall. park at any house and give the owner 10k per scooter.
do not take any guide with you. as they ealk with you and then after taking you downstairs and then to the rice fields.they ask 100k. they're scammers. it doesn't need any guidance . just walk with the alley from the sign. take the stairs down. and follow the water strain. and you'll arrive to waterfall.
I'd recommend visiting the rice field first. have a cup of Lombok coffee. really nice farmers. and their mini coffee place between fields is nice. then go downstairs using the bamboo stair bridge to the waterfall.
the farmers on that coffee place ate really good and helpful they'll tell you how to go there. just say you're travelling without guide. and love exploring their beautiful island.
watch out while on bamboo bridge as it's slippery and steep.
take a dip in the cold water when you arrive. some nice photos.
do not attempt to jump from rocks like locals do. the water surface is around 1.5 meters. so shallow for jumping or diving. stay safe.
I'd say don't take a trip just to that waterfall . make a pit stop with air terjun waterfall in the other village close by.
keep in mind . the village is so old and not that developed. even around it. the route is a bit rough and loads of gravel and street needs repairs. if you use a...
Read moreLuckily I plan ahead, people pulled me into their home to park and we walk 30 metres down the hill and there was a 5k rupiah parking lot. They ask for 10k at their home which just shows me they take advantage of obvious tourists. It's just sad because everyone seems so friendly but we are just a walking wallet apparently. I just want to pay what is supposed to be charged. The waterfall is pretty cool. You can swim and also jump from 4/8 metres but I hit the bottom from the 4 metres jump while doing a cannonball so it's not exactly safe. Each to their own if they want to visit but I would not return. There's another waterfall there also. Tetebatu is a beautiful area to explore but you have to pay for absolutely everything you do and most of it is underwhelming. Go to Tumpak Sewu on Java Island for the best value if you want to see a...
Read moreAmazing Waterfall and Nature around there. I've been to many waterfalls and amazing places on our planets but here i got the best experience so far? Why: The Waterfall is difficult to find yes, so i recommend to go to the T-Shaped Road under the waterfall - look on google maps, there is a small local village. There is no parking and the road to there is a bit "crazy", since it is a small walk between rice fields. Around there ask for people how to go to the waterfall, i met a guy named Uking - we are good friends by now - he brought us to the waterfall by a short walk through the farm land. Arrived at the Waterfall i felt like i was on another planet, like Pandora from Avatar, incredible nature, just check it out by yourself, you wont regret it.
PS: Don't bring Sandals/Flipflops if you got not the local...
