We were staying 🏘️ down the street and during our walk 🚶🚶♂️🚶♀️about, we spotted this restaurant. Within the 1km radius 🔘, hands down they are one the of the very best Indonesia 🇮🇩 Restaurant you can find 👀
Restaurant – Big spacious and is able to take in more than 5️⃣0️⃣ pax. I like how it is super clean 🫧🧼, neat and tidy 🧹. It is also very airy 💨, and doesn’t have funky smells or mosquitos 🦟. It does have a persistent cat 🐈 and dog 🐕that keeps begging for food LOL 😆
Staff – Very friendly! Lady 👩🏾🦳boss speaks good English, has a great sense of humor 😉 and is really polite. Took our orders 📝, gave recommendations 🗣️, and served the food. She does it all and provides great service. 😎
Food –Food is really good! Truly an Indonesian lead kitchen. The taste ✅, flavor ✅, the marinate ✅ and dishes could possibly place them in a top restaurant in big cities 🌏. The Chicken 🐓 was so well marinated and cooked, I highly recommend it. I also highly recommend the “Semur Chicken” which is a special (non-spicy) curry sauce 🥘over grilled chicken. I had it twice, once with coconut 🥥 milk and once without. (You will thank me! 😉) You could also ask for the Sambal Chili 🌶️ and Salt 🧂 to be served to you on a side plate. That way, you will not have to worry if it is too spicy or salty. We ate here almost every night 🌒 so you can refer to my pictures and videos for guidance.
I highly recommend this...
Read moreDelicious food - we loved grilled chicken and fried pineapple. And coffee... actually everything we have ordered was yummy. Then we had a walk around rice fields (amazing views, we had time to take photos), went to the waterfall (small, cozy, great to practice some jumping into refreshing water). Our guides helepd us with children and backpacks. That greated people from village and chatted with them so we felt welcomed as well. They answered all the questions concerning rice plantations. They showed us other plants like avocado, pomelo, coffee, cacao etc. At first I had no intentions to go for such a tour (rather wanted to sit and chill) but I have no regrets. Walk wasn’t challenging. Our 3.5 yo was able to make it there and back with a little help of one of guides (slippery stones by the waterfall, some mud in rice fields) - I would recomend to wear snickers and be prepared to wet them so have extra flip flops in back...
Read moreThis Warung was our favourite place in Tetebatu. The owner (Ron) and his daughters (Wini and Wanj) and wife are the kindest people you could meet. We also stayed at their Hotel (WiniWani) which we can 100% recommend as well. The food is really delicious and they even provided us with a cooking class to learn how to cook our two favourite meals. All the ingredients that are used are local and Wina showed us the plantations on a trip we did with her during the day. My boyfriend and me also saw some of the endangered black monkeys in the close by forest, a hidden waterfall and rice terraces during that trip. Everyone we met was very welcoming and friendly.
All in all such a great experience. :)) Thank you so much! Best,...
