Don't go here if you see 10 people queueing at the entrance, because there's a total of 3 queues (+ 1 more for the supposedly ski lift that doesn't even let you drop down at the top) you need to take For the ticket (10 minutes) For getting in (30 minutes) For getting your boots (longest when crowded, 1 hour) Ski lift (I waited for 20 minutes just for this) Total waited around 1 hour 30 minutes (for the necessary items), when they say 2 hours, this includes the duration you need to wait for your boots, they don't really care how long you wait (not paid enough honestly). The place is extremely understaffed and can't handle more than 50 people at a time, honestly it's more of management's fault I think, these people working here are doing a great job IMO, just not enough manpower. Going here is mostly being in queue, they have no system for handling lots of people.
Even after getting through the hell that is queue, you get introduced to a mediocre experience of packed shaved ice that is so slippery because 200 people has stepped on it previously + boots that make your walking even more slippery than it already is + green shaved ice? No clue what it is (do they clean the place?) not to mention the fact skiing, and 30% of the area is is closed off because heck knows why. Another thing to note is that they don't really try to kick you out either when your time is up so I'm not sure if that's a plus or minus. Also, never ever enter here 2 hours before closing in the case that it's crowded. Just so you know too they still sell the tickets even though they've probably ran out of boots (which is rather required), sleds, or other stuff idk. Never come here on high season, or take the risks, up to you ┐(´ー`)┌
Summary: I'd never want to go here again even if it was free (I'd want to avoid the entire mall if that were the case). 75% queue 5% wet socks (ice getting in the boots) 20% fun. Interesting experience in it's own right, was designed mostly for kids in mind though. Take it as you may...
Read moreCame here for the first time with my nieces. I never been to trans snow world in Bekasi or Bintaro. So when i visit Surabaya and this Trans Snow World is quite near from the hotel where i sleep, i decided to visit this Trans Snow World. Didnt prepare enough, only regular jacket.
Entrace fee is 150K/person (regular), and you get max 2 hours playing time (free socks) and they lend the boots. First you can measure the length of your foot, inform the employee which size of boots you'd like to choose. After you get the boots, you can change your shoes and put the shoes on the box. Bring your shoes inside the box to the employee, and they will give you number card. To measure the time playing on snow area, they also put some kind of wirst watch on your wrists. If the wrist watch shows color yellow, then the time of playing is...
