Ancient Rock Arts in Iran

Rock arts are the oldest historical and artistic cases which remained by human contain so secrets thet you can review and visit any perspective view of people in last. There are 2 kinds of rock arts , some what are made by colors as " Pictograghs " and are discovered in caves and deep cavities and some are inside and outside of caves as " Petroglyghs " which contain negative engravings ( hollow ) on the flat surface of caves , mountaines and alleys.

Instruments used for engraving and making rock arts are different according to their historical periods and ancientness ; in Iran it was performed by knocking an stone ( as the name of " Igneous " ) on the stone , knocking tibia of a hunted animal that they have eaten his meats on the stone and knocking metal on the stone. Antiquity of Iran's rock arts differ from 40800 to 256 years ago, the oldest one in pictograghs was discovered at "Lorestan" in caves with 40000 years history and the oldest case in petroglyghs related to 40800 years ago at "Teymareh ". It is necessary to mention that for the first time in Iran or even in the world , the route of line was discovered to at lease 250 years ago as: pictogram , ideogram ,linear ( protoElamite) , Strichschrift , Pahlavi & Arabic lines (906 years ago) , Kufic line and persian lines.The quantity of discovered rock arts was estimated more than 50000 at 24 provinces in Iran.

Most of them were discovered by author within 20 years and was described in 3 book volumes, it is necessary to attention that just 21000 case were discovered at Teymareh (Khomein & Golpayegan ) in the Iran's center. Dr . M...
