Nishtiman Bazar ( Bazarî Nîştiman ) — Attraction in Erbil Central Subdistrict

This big building could have really been a nice and attractive shopping center, but unfortunately the occupants turned it into a dirty and disorderly bazar. The shop owners filled their shops with boxes and they even transgressed into the walking lanes for shoppers. Now shoppers can barely walk there due to the boxes and goods that are blocking the lanes. It is also very dirty and visited by men only, because women don’t feel safe visiting that place. New in old. Nishtiman bazar is a new building in an old neighbourhood. The bazar is cleaner and more walkable than the outside market. There are different sections, one area is for money exchange and Remittances, another section is for clothes, another is for electrical and electronics, ...etc. There is a low standard car park, (but better than others in the area), which costs IQD2K (about 1.3 USD) per entry per day.
