The Glen River Park (Gleann a’ Phúca) — Attraction in Cork

Definitely one of our favourite parks in city it’s quiet. Love to come there in the mornings while kids are at school, so peaceful, in the evenings I recommend always have a buddy just beeing Precautious. The only downside of it is ppl dropping rubbish (motorbikes also in bushes) this could be monitored i hope in future. Great little park in the heart of the city, lovely atmosphere and a good place to unwind, the park has alot of character with people who care about keeping it as tidy as possible with no help from local authorities. There is a parkrun weekly on a Saturday morning which I love bringing my 11 year daughter too with very friendly and helpful people organising this event, This park brings alot of joy to alot...
