These are such important ruins that the entrance is closed with three locks! A fence with flesh-destroying spikes. The only thing missing is machine gunners and snipers.
Very close by is an electric water pump from the first half of the 20th century.

It is worth it. It's just a 25 minute walk from the city center. You have a great view on the river corrib and the country side. It still looks interesting although it is a ruin with no activities.
