Min Ryan Park — Attraction in The Borough District of Wexford

👶 Min Ryan park is home to one of the nicest playgrounds I've ever seen. The play equipment is absolutely stunning. In particular, the sand and water area complete with pump and digger is wonderful for slightly bigger kids and encourages team work.

🛼 The skatepark is delicious Every obstacle has ample space so you can really get into whatever you're trying. The pump track is a cool uncommon feature. There's great flow. It's really really well designed! The AstroTurf patch is also totally genius as it stops people from sitting around on ledges or leaving their bags somewhere inconvenient. A perfect spot to rest, change shoes, put on pads, etc. There's nothing massive there, the bowl and ramps are low-mid but all very usable and very respectable.

🐶The inclusion of a dedicated fenced off space for dogs to play off-leash is brilliant and thoughtful. And there are loads of dispensers providing owners with high quality bags for dog mess.

🐝 The bee-friendly bio-diverse meadows are beautiful to walk around and SUCH a welcome change from the same old mowed lawn.

⚽ There is also a designated kickabout area where the grass is short and neat and folks can play ball if desired.

☕ There is a kiosk near the playground where you can grab hot or cold drinks and snacks, who do a really nice rich cup of coffee. And they offer bowls of water to dogs too!

Beautiful park. Well layed out pathways. Areas left to wilding. A ball sport arena and a skate area in development. There is a really great playground which is fenced off to keep little ones from wandering too far. There are public toilets. There is also a dog walking/playing area which is einderful to see in use. There is a small shop/coffee shop, which brings me to my last point. There are only two bins in the whole park and both are located next to the shop. The entire park is often strewn with plastic straws, plastic bottles, crisp and sweet bags, cans, dog mess, general litter and coffee cups/slushie cups. Not to mention the cigarette...

Wonderful and well-kept park. Facilties include a large playground with a big sand pit and diggers and 2 zip lines. It is very big and enclosed and you could easily stay a few hours. There are well maintained toilets between the playground and car park. Also on the park is a tarred pathway that winds all over the park. A great way to get a few steps in and a lovely surface for kids' bikes and scooters.
