My visit to Ufucoffee was very nice, located in a good area for shopping but so close that you feel crowded. The store itself presents as very clean and well laid out, with a small indoor seating area at the side and a decent sized enclosed and covered outdoor seating area at the front of the unit. the menu was varied and appeared to have something to suit most people. the staff were very nice and friendly which was refreshing and even though we came in and ordered as a group the staff member did ask if we wanted pay together or separately. The food was very nice, the sandwiches are displayed packaged but I believe them to be made fresh in the store on the day and toasted to order, the coffee was nice though a bit colder than I would like. The biggest let down was when we asked for water for the table and we were presented with three small flimsy white plastic cups of tap water, this was actually quite a disappointment as it was something you would expect at a children's party and not at a café. Aside from this though; Ufucoffee is a pleasant place to enjoy some nice food and is located in a good area...
Read moreI'd passed by this cafe loads of times, but only started to go here in the last 6 months or so. Was very pleasantly surprised! Food is excellent, the mini brekkie is always fab, not greasy, good ingredients and piping hot. Lovely doorstep toast also. Staff always nice and professional. Quick service as well. I really like the upstairs section at the back, as it's usually much quieter than the really loud front section. 4.5 stars! Deducted half star for two reasons. First, music so loud it would rip your ears off! Ow 😖. Seriously. I can't concentrate on eating if my ears are bleeding. Lower the volume please!! Second. Love the brekkies, but they stop serving them at 2.45pm. And I mean on the dot. Tried to get a brekkie at ten to two one day recently and no go. Whatsoever. Have the brekkies available all day (or just some dishes on that menu). Alternatively, could you consider a wee extentsion of the time they are available? Would give 5 stars then. Good job all round (bar the...
Read moreNice space and friendly staff but I was charged €15 for a toastie and two salads and a cup of tea. This is pretty over priced for a basic cafe. It would have been acceptable except I have to eat gluten free because I’m allergic to wheat. The gluten free bread they use here is about the size of a postage stamp. Every cafe in the country makes two sandwiches when they use this kind bread to make it up but these guys only make one. So I was charged extra for gluten free bread and given a sandwich half the size of a normal one. When I questioned this I was told gluten free bread costs more than normal bread and was offered some extra salad. There are so many really good options for GF bread now - either buy a decent one or just make two bloody sambos. It’s not going to break the bank. There’s nothing worse than an establishment that’s really tight with things like that. Also, the salads were so bland they needed to be showered in salt and pepper. I won’t be returning here...
