Cliff Walk in Ardmore is a stunning experience that should be at the top of anyone's itinerary if you're in the region. It's a looped walk, so you can start in any direction. The easiest way to find it is to walk or drive up to the Cliff Hotel and begin there at St. Declan's Well and Oratory which is lovely in itself. Street parking available. If you are visiting in summer, ladies, wear a gown because the picture you can take in front of the oratory will give you princess vibes. The walk offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean with purple heather-covered slopes and barley fields. Along the way, you'll encounter historic lookout points and religious areas. If you're looking for a delightful coastal experience, the Cliff Walk Ardmore won't disappoint!

Restrooms are available in the nearby beach around 1 km from the cliff hotel. You can rent suits or boats or...

Love this walk , plenty of fresh air to be got here especially when the wind comes in off the Atlantic. Very handy walk as the pathway has been redone lately and makes it handy for walking. One place has some steps but other than that its a solid surface. Its possible to push a buggy around even though it meanders up and down as you go. There are a few seats along the path to sit down and relax and take it all in. Plenty of wildlife to be seen including some seals. It will take about 45 mins at a good pace but take as long as you need to enjoy the beauty here. Go on get down there and try it yourself. May 2025 we have a few goats out on the headland to control the gorse that grows there. They have been a feature over the last few years and are of great interest to the young children as they walk by them. Go on get out there...

Ardmore is a small place situated in the country and absolutely reflects the beauty of the countryside...We were planning to visit a nearby place on a day off and boarded the local link to Ardmore. Ardmore did not fail to amaze me... It was breathtakingly beautiful, thanks to the beautiful weather on that day. I was in love with the peace and beauty of the place as it lay in the country with less hussle of the city yet a beauty defined by Grace. The Ardmore cliff walk is the most amazing strip of walk I've done in recent years.... where the green hills meet the sea in grace and serenity. The cry of Seagulls over the cliffs make you feel liberated and one among them. Nature never fails to amaze you.... Ardmore is a...
