Difficult to review this restaurant without bursting into what readers may think is hyperbole, but we think that our dining experience at Tony Parkin's, House Restaurant was probably the best meal we have ever had. Each phase of the 5 course tasting menu was an awakening. Ingredients you would never expect to be sitting on the same plate together either compliment or enhance. Balsamic melon hidden beneath a canopy of almond flakes actually made me giggle it was such a surprise. Japanese herb jelly and tomato consommé was a revelation. The hot and sour broth was full of Eastern textures and flavours and the duck... I'll keep that for you to enjoy. A stunning tour de force and not an ounce of pretentiousness. Beautiful Michelin Star Menu All of the course were absolutely delicious. Stand out dishes would be the Balfego Tuna and Rogan Josh Lobster

This menu changes seasonally and is a beautiful selection of well balanced dishes It is also optional to do a wine pairing with the tasting menu which they have put a lot of thought behind each wine to accompany each dish.

If possible try and sit by the window to experience the beautiful views and sunset

The Michelin Star dinner from Martijn Kajuiter was perfection and worth the trip itself, excellent tasting menu and beautiful taste combinations.

One thing that particularly stood out in our stay, was the exceptional international staff & service. Every interaction was kind and professional. From our experience, the staff at the Cliff House has raised the bar for every hotel in Ireland.

We will definitely be staying & eating here again and in the meantime we will be enjoying our favorite seafood platters at the Cliff Town...
