HaKshatot Beach in Ashdod is a true gem on the Israeli coastline. I came here around sunset and was absolutely amazed by the calm, scenic atmosphere. The view of the sun dipping into the Mediterranean Sea, with palm trees gently swaying and the sky painted in warm tones of orange and purple, is simply unforgettable.
The beach is wide, clean, and well-organized. There's a lovely promenade with benches and grass areas, making it ideal for relaxing with family, friends, or even by yourself. Beach in Ashdod. The beaches of Ashdod are generally clean and beautiful. The Arches (Kshatot) Beach complex has a number of restaurants but the building that houses the restaurants is neglected. The beach itself is spread out to the marina in a southerly direction and is carefully cleaned every day, like the other beaches of Ashdod. Near to the beach complex there is a large parking lot and if it is full you can park in the adjacent amphitheater parking lot. From the beach towards the marina there is a nice promenade that you can walk on, and on Saturdays there are small pavilions for selling souvenirs, etc. The area is very nice and the atmosphere...
