Petra Restaurant — Restaurant in undefined

Came with wife at 8.20 pm for a nice dinner with drinks, the first without kids in months. Got a table and ordered drinks and food - a baked aubergine salad and a dish called 'khorziani'. The drinks and aubergine came within minutes, while the second dish did not seem to come. When my wife finished the aubergine, we asked the waiter about the 'khorziani', which according to the menu was supposed to be a pastry filled with spicy minced beef seasoned with georgian spices. Only after that around 9.10 pm came the dish and after the first bite we realized the meat was dried to dust and completely tasteless. We flagged this to the waiter, he apologized and offered us another meal. I went for 'khachapuri', which should be the easiest and hopefully faster to get. Then we waited for another 25 minutes until 9.35pm when the waiter came and asked us if we already got the meal. To which we replied that we did not and that after so much waiting we did not want it any more, since my wife already finished her meal and just did not want to wait longer. The waiter offered us to cancel the order if it's not coming in 1 minute. He came back 5 minutes later and said the 'khachapuri' is coming in 3 minutes, which we refused since it was already too late to eat. He promised to cancel the order and bring us the bill. But then the UTTER HORROR just started. First came the manager, apologized and offered us a dessert if we do not cancel the order - we just asked the bill and tried to leave the place. Then another manager came and wanted to make us keep the order and promised the 'khachapuri' will come soon, since its FROZEN and will be ready in 3 minutes in the oven - we refused. (Have you ever eaten a frozen ready made pizza at a pizza place???) In a while came probably the biggest boss with a waiter and started shouting in French for 2 minutes, then left and let the waiter tell us that they will not cancel the order. We begged the waiter for the bill just to let us leave that awful place which ruined our first night out without kids in a few months. The waiter just smiled, said the first dish was not dried out (even though he did not wait on us the whole evening and could not have known). Then another waitress brought the bill and a defrosted 'khachapuri' in a pizza box for take away. Altogether, we interacted with 7 members of staff in that restaurant during the evening, including waiters and managers, out of which only 1 seemed to really try to solve our issue. We paid, left the box and ran away from the WORST RESTAURANT we've been to on years. Not to mention the deep cracks and holes in the fake leather seating and stray cats roaming around the...

We made same day reservation for this place to celebrate my birthday with a family. It was Friday evening. However, when we arrived nobody could find our names on the reservation list. It was very busy with big line of people trying to get in. And very loud music. Thankfully we had saved recorded audio of making reservations and finally we were sitted. We told about my birthday when reservation been made and also right away to our waitress. I saw other people celebrating with waitstaff bringing them desert with sparklers and singing for them. It looked like fun and I was expecting to have the same. We ordered food and were waiting for at least some glasses for water. Food was good, portions are huge. We ordered khachapuri among the other dishes, but it didn't arrive till almost the end of our dinner. We thought it was forgotten and it would be OK, since we were full already, but it arrived by the end. During the dinner we were hunting for waitstaff, since nobody came to check on us. Another waiter came by and we again asked for a birthday special. We ordered desert only for this reason. And when another waiter brought desert, he just put it on the table and left. No birthday song , no sparkle, no nothing. I was so upset. And at same time we saw someone else is celebrating properly. Finally our waitress showed up to bring our bill. We told her what happened, she just looked surprised, turned around and left. No apology at all, no care. I wouldn't even tip her, but tips already included in bill. We were so disappointed. Вкусно, обильно. Официанты очень приветливы. מבקרים במסעדה זו מספר פעמים בשנה. אוכל מאוד מגוון, טעים, מלצרים אדיבים, מנות גדולות. 5.5.2018 הזמנו אירוע משפחתי קטן - אכזבה. אין להם תפריט אירועים, המזמין נאלץ להרכיב תפריט אירוע לבד מתוך תפריט קיים ולסכם את המחירים כדי להבין סדר גודל של עלות האירוע. אין הנחת כמות ( לא חשוב כמה אנשים מבלים, מחירים נקובים בתפריט הם סופיים) נסיון משא ומתן במהלך ההזמנה לא הוביל לאיזושהי גמישות. גובים דמי חליצה ( לא מספיק שמוחרים יין במחירם מופרזים, גם אפשרות להביא יין מבקשים 50 ש"ח לבקבוק) כמה שעות לפני תחילת האירוע ביקשו לאחר בחצי שעה. מיקמו לנו את השולחן בצורה כזו שכל תנועת המלצרים עוברת דרך קצה של השולחן (וזה אירוע שהוזמן שבועים מראש) כך שאורחים שיושבים בקצה מרגישים שעוד רגע מלצרים שופכים משהו על ראשם. כשכולם הגיעו הסתבר שחסר כסאות ולקח למלצרים זמן להביא. השולחן היה צפוף מאוד. תזמון הוצאות האוכל היה לא טוב! לקח המון זמן להביא מנות ראשונות ומנות ביניים. שתיה קלה בכלל שחכו להכניס להזמנה ( למרות שהזמנו, ולקח להם זמן להביא) מנות עקריות אנשים כבר לא אכלו כי עבר המון זמן .... ( ארזו לנו הביתה) האוכל שלהם טוב, טעים לאורך שנים, כל הכבוד בעניין הזה. כמו כן המנות יפות גם מבחינת הגדול שלהם. מלצרים מספר פעמים הפילו ושברו כוסות בקירבת השולחן שלנו, כמו כן שפכו כוס יין על מספר אורחים שלנו( יין שאנחנו הבאנו, כן, כן אותו יין שהם חייבו אותנו ב50 ש"ח כדי לפתוח אותו), לא עלה בדעתם לשאול אותנו העם אנחנו רוצים/ צריכים עוד יין) . נסיון שלנו להסביר לאחראי שם שהכל לא בסדר ומגיע לנו פיצוי הניב 3 קינוחים על חשבון הבית, להבנתנו פיצוי לא הולם ולא מספיק בכלל . וגם אספרסו שלהם לא אמיתי ולא טעים. שרות 10% הכניסו לתוך החשבון, דבר שלא מקובל בארצנו בדרך כלל( מעניין למה עשו זאת, לדעתי מתוך הבנה כי שרות שלהם לא היה משהו...) לסיכום הלכנו הביתה מאוכזבים עם 3 שקיות בשר שאף אחד לא רצה לאכול לאחר ששילמו כמעט 3000 ש"ח

На сегодня заказали не большое семейное торжество - разочарование. В Петре не существует меню для торжеств, клиент вынужден сам составлять меню для своего торжества из существующего общего списка блюд. Для того чтобы понять примерную стоимость блюда надо сильно постараться посчитать. У них отсутствует скидка на количество( не важно какое торжество и сколько гостей цена по меню и она окончательная)! Попытка вести переговоры в процессе заказа не привела к какому-то пониманию со стороны администрации заведения. Позволяют принести свой алкоголь( вино) и берут за это 50 шек за бутылку. За пару часов до начала мероприятия нам сообщили о том что у них проблемы и мы должны задержадся на полчаса. Наш стол расположили так, что официантам было очень сложно проходить ( проход между столами был очень, очень узким), у гостей все время было ощущение что им вот вот что-то вылют на голову. Когда все наши собрались оказалась что не хватает стульев и взяло не мало времени пока их принесли. За столом было очень тесно. Время подачи блюд было непродуманно. Очень большие интервалы между первыми блюдами привели к тому что основные порции уже никто не ел. ( Нам завернули с собой) Еда у них хорошая, вкусная и на протяжении лет держат планку на хорошем уровне. Прохладительные напитки вообще забыли записать и подать. Официанты пару раз били посуду и разлили бокал вина ( нашего вина) на двоих наших гостей, им и в голову не пришло предложить нам компенсацию. Наши попытки обяснить их менеджеру что мы всем недовольны и рассчитываем на серьёзную компенсацию закончились тремя порциями десерта, что в нашем понимание не достаточно. Кофе эспрессо у них непонятное и не вкусное. За обслуживание 10% включили в счёт, что в принципе у нас в стране не принято ( следует думать что они понимают что их сервис оставляет желать лучшего) В итоге мы пошли домой расстроенными с тремя пакетами мясных блюд после того как заплатили...
