LAWḤ-I-KARMIL (Tablet of Carmel) Bahá’u’lláh ALL glory be to this Day, the Day in which the fragrances of mercy have been wafted over all created things, a Day so blest that past ages and centuries can never hope to rival it, a Day in which the countenance of the Ancient of Days hath turned towards His holy seat. Thereupon the voices of all created things, and beyond them those of the Concourse on High, were heard calling aloud: ‘Haste thee, O Carmel, for lo, the light of the countenance of God, the Ruler of the Kingdom of Names and Fashioner of the heavens, hath been lifted upon thee.’ Seized with transports of joy, and raising high her voice, she thus exclaimed: ‘May my life be a sacrifice to Thee, inasmuch as Thou hast fixed Thy gaze upon me, hast bestowed upon me Thy bounty, and hast directed towards me Thy steps. Separation from Thee, O Thou Source of everlasting life, hath well nigh consumed me, and my remoteness from Thy presence hath burned away my soul. All praise be to Thee for having enabled me to hearken to Thy call, for having honoured me with Thy footsteps, and for having quickened my soul through the vitalizing fragrance of Thy Day and the shrilling voice of Thy Pen, a voice Thou didst ordain as Thy trumpet-call amidst Thy people. And when the hour at which Thy resistless Faith was to be made manifest did strike, Thou didst breathe a breath of Thy spirit into Thy Pen, and lo, the entire creation shook to its very foundations, unveiling to mankind 4 such mysteries as lay hidden within the treasuries of Him Who is the Possessor of all created things.’ No sooner had her voice reached that most exalted Spot than We made reply: ‘Render thanks unto thy Lord, O Carmel. The fire of thy separation from Me was fast consuming thee, when the ocean of My presence surged before thy face, cheering thine eyes and those of all creation, and filling with delight all things visible and invisible. Rejoice, for God hath in this Day established upon thee His throne, hath made thee the dawning-place of His signs and the dayspring of the evidences of His Revelation. Well is it with him that circleth around thee, that proclaimeth the revelation of thy glory, and recounteth that which the bounty of the Lord thy God hath showered upon thee. Seize thou the Chalice of Immortality in the name of thy Lord, the All-Glorious, and give thanks unto Him, inasmuch as He, in token of His mercy unto thee, hath turned thy sorrow into gladness, and transmuted thy grief into blissful joy. He, verily, loveth the spot which hath been made the seat of His throne, which His footsteps have trodden, which hath been honoured by His presence, from which He raised His call, and upon which He shed His tears. ‘Call out to Zion, O Carmel, and announce the joyful tidings: He that was hidden from mortal eyes is come! His all-conquering sovereignty is manifest; His all-encompassing splendour is revealed. Beware lest thou hesitate or halt. Hasten forth and circumambulate the City of God that hath descended from heaven, the celestial Kaaba round which have circled in adoration the favoured of God, the pure in heart, and the company of the most exalted angels. Oh, how I long to announce unto every spot on the surface of the earth, and to carry to each one of its cities, the glad-tidings 5 of this Revelation—a Revelation to which the heart of Sinai hath been attracted, and in whose name the Burning Bush is calling: “Unto God, the Lord of Lords, belong the kingdoms of earth and heaven.” Verily this is the Day in which both land and sea rejoice at this announcement, the Day for which have been laid up those things which God, through a bounty beyond the ken of mortal mind or heart, hath destined for revelation. Ere long will God sail His Ark upon thee, and will manifest the people of Bahá who have been mentioned in the Book...

The construction of the Bahá'í Garden was quite tortuous. After Baha'u'llah was chosen here as the resting place of the Prophet Bhag in 1891, the project was intermittent for more than 100 years. The Bahá'í Garden finally made its debut in 2001 and has now become a tourist destination in Israel. The construction cost of the Bahá'í Garden is 250 million yuan, and the annual maintenance cost is as high as 4 million US dollars. Haifa is a beautiful mountain town on the east coast of the Mediterranean Sea. Israel is the third largest city. Christianity, Islam, and Judaism live together here. Arabs and Jews live in harmony here. It is a rare peaceful home on the war-torn Middle East land. Every year, a large number of tourists flock to the city, and most of them come to the same building: the Bahá'í Sky Garden. Built on the hillside, the Bahá'í Garden is backed by the mountain of Carmel, known as the “Mountain of God”. It faces the warm and humid sea breeze of the Mediterranean Sea and diverge from the main building of the golden dome, forming a huge platform of 19 levels. The ladder stretches from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain. The Bahá'í Faith is an independent monotheistic religion founded in 1844. The belief that the nine religious beliefs that existed in the world are all from the same God, but God sent different "teachers" to different places to preach at different times. Its pioneering pioneer was Bayu (1819-1850) and the founder was Baha'u'llah (1817-1892). According to statistics, the Bahá'í religion has spread to more than 200 countries and has more than 6 million members. Looking at Haifa Port from Mount Carmel Looking at Haifa Port from Mount Carmel In 1850, the Bashu was executed by the Persian authorities, and his body was concealed by the Bahá'ís for many years and arrived in Haifa in 1899. In 1908, after Abdul Bahá, the dean of Bahá'u'lláh, was released, he immediately proceeded to build the Bashu mausoleum at the designated location of Baha'u'llah. After the death of Abdu'l-Bahá in 1921, the Bahá'í Guardian Shoghi Effendi continued his unfinished business. He built the mausoleum into what it is today and built beautiful gardens on the platform around the mausoleum. At dusk on May 22, 2001, about 4,500 spectators were clustered at the foot of Mount Carmel in Haifa, witnessing the $250 million construction project that lasted for more than a hundred years. The inauguration of the Bahá'í Garden. Facing the Mediterranean Sea, the Bahá'í Garden is backed by the mountains of Mount Carmel. The whole garden is built on a hill. It stretches from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain. The vertical height is about 225 meters and the maximum slope is about 63 degrees. The center of the garden is the Mausoleum of the Bayu, and the golden hemispherical dome is located on the 40-meter-high milky white sanctuary, shining in the sun, like a bright pearl. The symmetrical Bahá'í Garden is filled with a strong Persian style. A step made of white marble is located on the central axis of the garden, like a jade belt moving through the green carpets stacked on the garden floor, while the trees, pools, flower pots, sculptures and other landscapes are symmetrically distributed on both sides. A little further from the central axis, the various landscapes are no longer strictly symmetrical, but a variety of garden styles, from the pattern of iron gate carving to the design of flower bed shape, can be described as a long-term and interesting. Even traces of Chinese culture can be found in the garden. For example, in the mausoleum garden, there are two bronze dings written in the book "The Great Qing Emperor Qianlong". All kinds of flowers or sallows, or sorrows; eagle carvings of various shapes or looking at the blue sea, or...

An unreal experience! we made a reservation in which it required to be properly dressed. We complied and went there with black dresses and pants. And because it was hot, we brought scarfs to put on our shoulders when we would get there. When arrived, a horrible lady monster looked at us and barked: did you make a reservation? yes, we did I replied as we were putting our scarfs on, she looked at our daughter and she said, her dress goes on her knees. I looked and said yes. Well, she said, change it now or you are not coming in I said why? because it is a holy place and it must be below the knee. I said, well she had the same dress while going to the western wall of Jerusalem, we all are dressed as requested. It said nowhere the "right length" at to be below the knee. So I asked if she could find an accommodation, a skirt, something, as they do in Jerusalem? She said as a man in shorts walk in right by us: No, go away, I decide and I won't let you in! So a few questions: Is the Bahai' sexist? Are they being represented by unprofessional people? It took us three hours to get there, we were extremely respectful, well dressed, polite and we got fired and humiliated like dogs by a lady who gave us the impression of saying she had the power to decide whether or not we will get in. Never has she tried to explain, accommodate, find a solution to let us discover etc...So bottom line, we have gone so far to every religious groups and were welcomed except for the Bahai who treated us like dogs... To be remembered and reflected by the leaders of their...

Peaceful atmosphere. There are terraces with gardens and fountains, Shrine of the Bab, Archive and Management building. The archive reminded me the library from the Myst game. There are three gates. Upper level, mid-level, lower-lever. They arranged guided tours in English and Russian. Visitor should be dressed properly prior to entering. It's possible to buy something to cover shoulders and legs nearby for 14$. Guided tours begin from upper lever (Sderot ha-Nasi) and end at Mid-level. Shrine of the Bab is accessible till noon. Pay attention there are to gates at the upper-level. One for entering observation point (right hand) and another one for tours (left hand). They are 100 m away from each others. You can get to mid (ha Tsiyonut) and upper (ha Nassi) levels by bus number136 from German colony. Bab was the first prophet of Bahai faith. Born and killed in Persia (Iran). He was a merchant and claimed a new direction of faith (unity and equality) and predicted a new more significant and influential prophet coming after him. Later this prophet ordered to bring Bab's remains and bury them in Shrine of the Bab so that he can see it from his residence in Acco. The building of the Shrine and gardens was crowdfunded by bahai followers.

The Bahá'í Gardens, also known as the Hanging Gardens of Haifa, are a remarkable and iconic terraced garden complex located on the slopes of Mount Carmel in Haifa, Israel. These gardens are a significant pilgrimage site for followers of the Bahá'í Faith and are recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Bahá'í Gardens consist of two sections: the upper section, which includes the Bahá'í World Centre buildings, and the lower section, which is open to the public and offers stunning views of the surrounding area and the Mediterranean Sea. The gardens are meticulously landscaped with intricate designs, vibrant flowers, and neatly trimmed hedges. The focal point of the gardens is the Shrine of the Báb, a gold-domed structure that houses the remains of the Bahá'í Faith's founder, the Báb. The Shrine stands as a symbol of spiritual significance and beauty within the garden complex. Visitors are welcome to explore the lower gardens and enjoy their serene atmosphere.
