Serene and uplifting. Such a beautiful place! Absolutely pristine Gardens - and if you seek blessings you will find them in the shrine.

The whole Gardens stretch up over 19 levels, with the shrine being in the middle (on "level 10").

There are three entrances: at "street level" with Ben-Gurion, open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (for non-Baha'i, longer if you are a Baha'i pilgrim but you need a special pass for that). But you can only go up to the very first level from here.

The second entrance is much better: it is at the level of the shrine which is open 9 a.m. to 12 noon (again, for non-Baha'i).

And the third level is right at the top of the gardens but it is only open for the guided tours (which are free and highly recommended).

Everything in Haifa is mountainous and a climb! From street level with Ben Gurion you can take bus 136 which will take you all...

Prepare yourself for misogyny and misinformation- while the website says 6cm above the knee, they won’t admit you if your dress is AT your knee and will speak to your husband and not you. Unlike the kotel, they don’t have a plan b for tourists who properly read their dress code prior to arrival. We went back to our hotel to change and saw a woman with bare shoulders down to her breasts with thighs barely covered. Maybe if you’re Jewish you have to cover more than requested on the website? Or Dan F just doesn’t like my knees. In addition they will be cleaning for the next month so there was a small section available to see. Takes about 3 minutes to see. There is a bathroom though if you’re needing. Otherwise it’s a complete waste of time. Edit: it’s Just Dan F. No other male guard is...

“The Magnificent Shrine of the Bab in Haifa The Shrine of the Bab in Haifa, Israel, is a sacred site for Baha'i pilgrims from around the world.

This magnificent marble structure houses the remains of the Bab, the prophet-founder of the Baha'i Faith.

The shrine is a magnificent structure that stands on the slopes of Mount Carmel and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. It is made of Italian Carrara marble and is adorned with intricate decorations and gold leaf. The dome of the shrine is 40 meters high and is covered with thousands of pieces of stained glass, which create a stunning effect when the sun shines through.

With its stunning stained glass dome and serene gardens, the Shrine is a symbol of unity and a must-visit for...

Al-Bahja Palace is a summer house located near Acre, where Bahá'u'lláh died in 1892 and the mausoleum is located directly behind the palace. The whole area is called the "Glamor" and the area is protected by the gardens of Paradise called the Holy Temple. The shrine and gardens are considered one of the holiest places for the Baha'is and one of their pilgrimage sites. And the tea that draws attention to these gardens in coordination in the plantations that can live in the temperature and nature in the region and the design and breeding wonderful in agriculture and financial funding of all the Bahaiin the world to protect these gardens and protect them from vandalism and I advise you to visit these gardens because it Worth the visit
