Sarah's Tent Fine Art Gallery — Attraction in Safed

We were stopped dead in our tracks when we saw Joel Amit's beautiful artwork hanging in Sarah's Tent. Meir and his staff were accommodating and friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about what they are selling. The piece we ended up purchasing was by far the most expensive art purchase we have ever made, so we were nervous about how the shipping process would go.

Meir and his team talked us through the process and even sent us photos of the custom shipping box being constructed to house our piece. He was in contact with me during the entire several week period before our art shipped, and followed up with us to make sure everything had arrived safely. On our recent trip to Safed, our guide led us to this beautiful fine art gallery. The owner, Meir Knafo, was a delight. He was very knowledgable about the artwork displayed and was very patient with us as we searched for the perfect artwork for our home. The gallery is bright, cheery, colorful, and full of interesting pieces of all forms of art. I would definitely recommend this gallery if you fill your home with nice artwork. I did buy in 2018 work of the artist Abecassis during a trip in Israel, passing the (beautiful) city Sefad, at Sara's Tent of Meir Knafo. The price was not an "easy thing", it took me an extra walk of 30 minutes, but decided then to buy it. And: no regret, no regret at all , up till now almost every day I take the time to admire the artwork of Abecassis because it 's so inconceivable made out of paper, paint and gold.
