Basilica di Santa Maria della Neve — Attraction in Cùllieri/Cuglieri

We just wondered off from Bosa on our way to Palau and discovered this beauty. The church stands on the top of a hill that you can see from km away, really impressive. We parked below, in the town and made our way up on foot. Once you get to the top, you can see that it was all worth it, just am amazing view. Wonderful Basilika which can be seen already from far away. We saw it coming from our way from Bosa to Funtana Meiga, and spontaneously decided to go there. We recommend to walk the last few 100 m besides you want an adventure to ride through super narrow and incredible steep roads up. Basilica imponente che domina il paese vista la sua magnifica e ben studiata posizione architettonica.. visibile da lontano (dalla strada di Bosa, si vede la chiesa proprio sopra Cuglieri ed è un colpo d’occhio non indifferente 🤩) è una tappa obbligata se si passa da quelle parti.. si raggiunge tramite le strette vie del paese e dopo la salitina finale (che personalmente sconsiglio di fare in moto) si accede al piazzale ampio e ben rifinito.. all’interno della basilica di può ammirare l’altare e il presbiterio molto belli e particolari!
