Shati Beach Club (cormorano) — Attraction in Castel Volturno

Place was great, hidden gem that was discovered when we took a long walk along the beach.....as far as entry fees for the lounges and umbrellas, little bit more pricey but in my opinion it was understandable as they really kept the place clean and well maintained.......just don't get a shock with the prices of drinks and food they serve, it's to be expected when you have staff that will bring all that out to you while you have a relaxing time on the beach ⛱️....the staff we meet were very friendly and always accommodating but don't expect things to come really quick.....if your in a hurry you can always get up and walk to the bar or even bring food from home but overall I didn't mind the establishment......toilets always clean, facilities in good working order and well maintained and staff was friendly......see you...

Il ristorante Shati è stata una fantastica sorpresa tanto da farci tornare anche la sera successiva. Bella location sul mare… Questo scenario ha reso la cena ancora più speciale.

Ottima la qualità del cibo, l’impiattamento e l’equilibrio dei sapori che c’era in ogni portata dall’antipasto ai dolci. Lo chef ci ha sicuramente sbalorditi. Un ristorante fuori dagli schemi nel cuore di Castel Volturno. Menu giusto e pensato. Non è il solito ristorante di pesce sul mare o quello delle polpette e ragù a tavola. Un fuori contesto che sicuramente è riuscito a soddisfare i sensi di due persone esigenti come noi. Ci hanno accolto con delle cialde di riso fatte in casa di vari sapori e le amuse-Bouche. Già questo ci ha incuriosito fin da subito e spronato ad assaggiare qualcosa in più. Abbiamo provato la tartar di tonno con la caponata ed il caprino e fidatevi, è un piatto che vi ricorderà i sapori tradizionali del sud Italia in chiave moderna. Ottima la seppia con cocco e piselli, da aggiungere probabilmente un tocco di salato e croccante. Il polpo cotto in maniera perfetta. La riduzione di gambero e lamponi molto particolare. La pasta deliziosa, cottura perfetta. Anche lì, tutti i piatti erano ben bilanciati. Quando in un piatto trovi l’equilibrio tra il dolce , il salato, l’acidità e l’amaro avete fatto un viaggio rimandendo seduti al vostro tavolo. Concludo con i dolci… io non farei passo a nulla. Ne vale la pena davvero. C’è un lavoro dietro a tutte queste pietanze, si vede e si sente quando assaggiate uno dei loro piatti.

Ultimo ma non meno importante, il servizio. Simone è stato eccezionale, professionale e preparatissimo.Per deformazione professionale do molta importanza alla sala e sono anche abbastanza esigente e Simone è stato colui che ha valorizzato lo chef a pieno e ha reso l’esperienza ancora più particolare. Tutti i piatti venivano presentati e spiegati. Descrivere un piatto è capire il lavoro che c’è dietro a quello che stai assaporando ed è dargli un senso… e lui ci è riuscito a pieno.

Have been during the day and the evening. By far the nicest beach club on the strip. €20 will get you 2 beds and an umbrella for the day. There is also a private pool area and shaded seating areas. It's well-maintained with showers and the beach is kept clean. The bar offers some basic snacks -burgers, fries, sandwiches and salads- during the day. The restaurant is a little pricey for what you get but they are trying to provide a classier meal and it's the one place in the area that offers something other than pizza and burgers.
