Con i suoi tre archi e decorata con marmi, la concattedrale è una Basilica a Croce Latina. 5 cappelle, pavimento in marmo grigio e bianco e l'antico sepolcro dei sacerdoti stabiesi ne fanno parte. Stucchi decorati, colonne realizzate in piperno, e medaglioni dorati, sono parte della struttura interna. In alcuni fregi, si leggono dei salmi. Presente anche il battistero in marmo con la presenza di una tela, raffigurante San Pietro che consegna le chiavi. Un occhio di riguardo a San Catello, costruita nel 1789, preceduta da due lapide in bronzo che ricordano l'eruzione del Vesuvio del 1906.
