Spiaggia La Marina di Castelsardo — Attraction in Castheddu/Castelsardo

Castelsardo is a very beautiful town . It is divided in two, the old town on the top of the hill with the castle, then the modern side of the town on the sea level ... absolutely you must have a walk in the old town, be careful lot of stairs but you are going to enjoy it, in special way the beautiful view of the sea from the top of the castle . In the old town you also will find lot of nice restaurants, bar and shops . Definitely...

Not worth the long arduous drive inland ( do not do this route. Not very pretty) then when you get there it is in my opinion very characterless, scruffy and old fashioned the lower half , so boring we didn't bother with the top half ( maybe we missed out but anyway...) My opinion- go to Saint Teresa gullura. Much much nicer!! Character, pretty, lots of nice...

If you enjoy swimming in plastic soup, this is it! It's a nice place for sunset walk.., but I won't be swimming there again. Thousands of small and larger pieces of plastic float in the water. I wonder why the authorities haven't cleaned up the beach...
