I honestly would start by saying if it was possible I would rate this place zero stars. Let me explain in detail why:

No dedicated good parking spot and the one that already exists is a joke. It is close to impossible to arrive here with small children and find parking. The one marked on Google maps didn't even look like a parking spot that can serve an aquarium with many visitors. Don't think of going there by car, terrible experience.

We bought tickets online and still we had to wait more than an hour to get in because at every entrance they need to check your tickets, ridiculous and very ineffective policy, in fact the lines were long. We complained about this to the employee and their response was: This is Italy... This is a second point why you should avoid this place with small children. Ohh wait shouldn't aquarium be accommodating small children, I guess not this one. Terrible service...

Good luck if you have stroller or you need a wheelchair, this aquarium is ridiculous in this perspective since to see things you need to take stairs. Third point why this place is not worth it.

People are just not respecting the personal space and spend tremendous amount of time taking photos and videos. My daughter couldn't see anything basically not to mention that my son who is one year old basically was even more stressed being here. You need to literally push out people to see anything. The fourth point is why this place is not worth the visit.

Price for what you get: Tickets for 2 adults and one child were over ( my son luckily was for free ) costs over 60 euro. Really not worth it for the money you pay you should get a much better experience.

As a bonus you get frozen piadina from the bar so even in food they failed.

Overall avoid this place. It is really overpriced, badly organized and simply not worth your time and effort. We arrived there enthusiastically and happily but that lasted a...

SAD. If you have a tiny bit of love for animals, please don't go there. There are so many problems in this place but here are the main ones: Most of the tanks are way too small and only have fake plants and fake rocks. Animals are either trying to hide desperately or running in circles like crazy Animals don't seem to receive good care: we can smell a very strong odor there and most of them have awful scars. For example, the penguins have some identification rings attached that hurt and scratch them constantly The most choking thing to me was the open stingray pool and here is what you can read about it on their website: "For safety reasons, the spine is periodically trimmed". This means: "You can see an open wound on their tail but don't worry it's fine". Obviously, all these rays with their spine cut off are not moving and seem barely alive Please, don't waste your money on this. I know how it could be tempting to offer this to your kids or even to you but trust me, you will enjoy way more watching...

This is one of the most popular place in the area so a little planning is needed! First of do not visit the park in peak hours which are between 12 - 15. Come as early as possible or at 16 (plan about 2h to see everything). Buy tickets online to skip the queue. Do not plan to eat here as there are to many people with the same idea, instead you can get food at plenty of restaurants nearby that also have better food. Take your time in the aquarium (blue pavilion) as that us the highlight. People move fast so if you wait a minute you can usually get a great view. Parking can be scarce in the area so if you cant find a spot you can try to park in the streets and walk there. Pricing is a bit on the high end but children love it so it is worth it as long as it is not to crowded. Also buyin online the tickets are cheeper by up to 20% I would recommend visiting the aquarium on a thursday or friday. 4 stars as it was a bit pricey and some areas are a bit run down.

Kind of rubbish place. I've been literally robbed: 70 euros for 2 adults and 2 children, when something like this is in the UK would not cost more than £35 with a family ticket. The place is for most of its part inaccessible to impaired and disabled person. It's also poorly maintained (rubbish everywhere, gums, ashes) and the staff almost unwilling to work. The entrance was so distressing and unfriendly which I was tempted to run away. The worse of all is that being on holiday I clearly was not having a printer and the guys were kind of not keen to let me in because they were not able to use their scanner on a mobile device. An overall visit could last no more than 2.5 hours, with the best being only the one with fishes. The new entry, built in 2016 is kind of joke, with some posters and some plastic animals. Absolutely not worth all that money. A place like this should cost no more than 7 euro per person.
