I’ve been coming to Cattolica every summer since I was a child, and Ristorante Pappagallo has become a true favorite. We’ve tried other places over the years, but somehow we always end up coming back here. Maybe it’s because we know the owner, or maybe it’s just that we’ve grown to love the food – either way, it never disappoints. The staff are always kind, the atmosphere is lively (especially at dinner – go a bit early or late to skip the rush), and the food is consistently great. I always recommend the tortellini pasticciati or one of their pizzas straight from the oven. We usually start with a fornarina con aglio – a simple but delicious appetizer. We bring all our friends and family here, and they all love it too. Definitely a place that feels like home...

⭐ 1 star A Disappointing and Unpleasant Experience – Avoid This Place

We had an extremely disappointing experience at Pappagallo Restaurant Pizzeria in Cattolica, Rimini. From the moment we arrived, the owner was inexplicably rude and made us feel unwelcome. There was no kindness or hospitality – instead, we were met with hostility that made the entire experience deeply uncomfortable.

Our food was deliberately brought out at different times, with long waits in between, and we were largely ignored throughout the meal. It felt personal, but we honestly have no idea why we were treated this way. We still paid, hoping things would improve, but sadly they only got worse.

This restaurant left a terrible impression and genuinely dampened our holiday. We’ve never been treated so poorly in any restaurant anywhere. I would strongly advise others to stay away – there are far better places in Cattolica that actually value and respect their customers.

Abbiamo avuto un’esperienza estremamente deludente al Ristorante Pizzeria Pappagallo a Cattolica, Rimini. Fin dal nostro arrivo, il proprietario è stato inspiegabilmente scortese e ci ha fatti sentire indesiderati. Nessuna cortesia o ospitalità – solo un atteggiamento ostile che ha reso l’intera esperienza molto sgradevole.

Il nostro cibo è stato portato volutamente in momenti diversi, con lunghe attese tra una portata e l’altra, e siamo stati ignorati per gran parte del tempo. Sembrava quasi un atteggiamento personale, ma sinceramente non capiamo il motivo di tale trattamento. Abbiamo comunque pagato, sperando in un miglioramento, che purtroppo non è mai arrivato.

Questo ristorante ci ha lasciato un ricordo pessimo e ha rovinato parte della nostra vacanza. Non ci era mai capitato di essere trattati così male in nessun altro locale. If I could, I would give 0 stars. The italian food was alright, not great but rather mediocre. We orderd 3 Pizza's and one wiener schnitzel. The wiener schnitzel was absolutely disgusting, it was chewy and didn't look good.

The workers in the Restaurant were disrespectfull to tourists that weren't italian. But to other people they also weren't the nicest. These people don't know about the basic etiquet. It's also not the most hygenic place, so if you can, eat somewhere else!!
