Azienda Agricola Sorsasso — Attraction in Domaso

My wife and I biked along lake como to this winery. This was probably the highlight of our entire trip. This is by far the most scenic winery we have ever been to. We were originally just going to get a couple glasses of wine but we ended up loving it there so much that we got the wine tasting with apps. Silvia did an amazing job explaining everything about the wine and apps that were brought out. Time got away from us because we were so busy enjoying the beatiful view and amazing food and drinks that we realized we needed to leave (to return our bike rentals) before our third glass was poured. This was not okay with Silvia because she wanted to make sure we got what we paid for so she took our phones and called the bike rental place for us and convinced them to let us drop off the bikes in the morning! This allowed us to get the full tour of the winery and allowed Silvia to passionately explain how this winery came to be from her from her family lineage. What a expirience. I dont even know where to start. This place has some of the most stunning views, amazing food and wine thats out of this world. Whole evening was a movie. Amazing and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend getting the full dinner with wine tasting, since it just makes so much sense together. You will get some information to every single wine you will get which was very interesting. Food was simple but delicious. Even if I tried I couldnt find anything wrong about the whole evening. If I could point out one more thing, its the service. Miss that guided us trough the evening was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. As Im writing this review right now I have a smile on my face and I cant wait for the next time im coming to visit this amazing place. What a fantastic experience! Make a booking and Sylvia helped arrange a taxi to the working winery established by Sylvia’s parents …up a steep hill from the ferry stop and Sylvia also help arrange a taxi ‘home’ - in our case to Varenna on the other side of Lake Como.

We went for lunch at the winery and had a lovely lunch. All four of us highly rated the three wines (sparkling, white and red) and limoncello served with the delicious lunch. We brought a toddler along and Sylvia made us all feel so welcome and the view from the outdoor but covered restaurant was magnificent. Add to that - small things - a lovely explanation of the wines, an explanation of the winery operations and two of the cleanest modern functioning toilets (near the green house at the back) made it a perfect memorable experience for us!
