I had an extremely disappointing and dangerous experience at Ajò Griglieria con cucina. I strongly advise against dining at this establishment, as my girlfriend and I ended up with a severe case of food poisoning after consuming their dishes. It was a nightmare that almost landed us in the hospital.

We ordered a La Panzanese, a meat dish, and a Pasta Carbonara, hoping for a delicious Italian meal. However, what we received was far from appetizing. The La Panzanese dish was mediocre, with dry and overcooked meat, and had nothing to do with the authentic La Panzanese recipe. The Pasta Carbonara was even worse, being excessively greasy and having an unpleasant and artificial taste.

Within hours of consuming these dishes, both my girlfriend and I started experiencing severe symptoms of food poisoning. We both suffered from persistent nausea, stomach cramps, and uncontrollable vomiting. The following day, we were weakened and exhausted, struggling to recover from the horrible experience we had endured.

The food poisoning we experienced was undoubtedly the result of inadequate hygiene conditions or improper food handling practices at Ajò Griglieria con cucina. It is unacceptable for a supposedly reputable restaurant to serve such contaminated and dangerous food to its customers.

To make matters worse, the staff displayed an indifferent attitude when we raised our concerns about the food quality and our subsequent illness. They showed no remorse or willingness to take responsibility for the harm caused. It was evident that customer satisfaction and health were not priorities for them.

Given our traumatic experience, I strongly urge everyone to avoid Ajò Griglieria con cucina. Their negligence towards food safety and lack of responsibility are a clear indication of their disregard for customer well-being. There are many other restaurants in the area that offer high-quality meals and prioritize customer health. Stay away from this establishment if you value your safety...

Really terrible customer experience, we reserved the table 2 days in advance and they put us in a table next to the door so it was really cold while eating. The food wasn’t special and from our table we could hear the waiters making fun of the foreign customers that couldn’t (or that’s what they thought) understand them. At the end of the dinner i went to pay and asked for an espresso, the waiter carelessly threw the coffee cup on the counter that fell and the boiling hot coffee ended up on my girlfriend’s purse and hand, staining her designer purse. They didn’t apologise and wanted to “clean” the purse with a dirty rug they used before to clean all the tables, after that I paid the full amount (including coffee) to another waiter, and we immediately left. Soon after a waiter followed us in the parking lot and instead of apologising for what had happened he came saying that I had to pay the bill that I already had paid (not receiving any receipt) and when I told him I had already paid he tells me that “he makes 100 coffe a day” and if he spills them to someone he it isn’t his problem . Definitely wouldn’t...

Simply terrible and absolutely not recommended.

Charging €14 for 6 small vegan balls with tomato sauce is outrageous – especially when the food is clearly not freshly prepared but just carelessly reheated. As soon as we ordered, the food arrived in under 5 minutes, and that’s exactly how it tasted: bland and low quality.

The bruschetta was a joke: rock-hard bread topped with a few tasteless tomatoes – no seasoning, no flavor. Very sad for an Italian restaurant.

The pecorino-filled pasta dumplings were just as disappointing: only 4 pieces, drowned in tomato sauce, falling apart and clearly not fresh. A complete rip-off for the price.

The service was miserable: our table was dirty and never cleaned. Meanwhile, at least 8 staff members were standing at the bar, laughing, chatting, and even flirting in front of guests – instead of taking care of them. And the restaurant wasn’t even busy.
