This camping was very nice, we had a great time, but we will try something else next time.
!!! Beware of the mosquito's !!! Come prepared !!!
** Camp site: The camp itself is beautiful, clean, well maintain. But the surroundings are not, very ... industrial? So... ugly. Positive aspect: you have a supermarket just outside the camp, with cheap price. The nearest nice village is Arona, but no (continuous) bike path to go there. We still did it, but the road is dangerous.
Stayed in the Residence Alice. Pleasantly located near the lake. Very nice apartment with a spacious balcony. ||Animation Team were very nice. They did their best to entertain most evenings with their shows and they clearly work very hard. My daughter loved the dancing at the end of the night, very catchy tunes and dances.||Handy having a supermarket directly opposite the campsite.||Nice food in the campsite, apart from the pizzas! Reasonable prices too. Stunning cappachinos!!||Nice little beach area on the lake, but the lake was very dirty. Thank goodness there was a shower on the beach, as I wouldn't have liked sitting around feeling dirty after a swim!|| ||The only negatives were:- Needing a card to gain entry to the lake, considering we were a family of 4 and were only given 2 cards, this was a nuisance to say the least. We wouldn't all go to the lake at the same time, so many times, we would have to hang around the gate to wait for someone to come through. || The air-con was eco, so if wanted to sit out on the balcony, we were unable to shut the doors tight, so therefore the air-con would shut off. It wasn't the best system, which was disappointing. || After paying £2000 for a 2 week stay, disappointed to see they were charging for sunloungers around the swimming pool and on the beach. ||Very friendly, polite, helpful staff at reception and the beach bar, however, shame we couldn't say the same for the staff at the restaurant!!||There was a nice little restaurant just up the road called Leonardos, which was very nice to have somewhere to go for a change from the campsite. ||Would have liked some tennis tournaments and more football tournaments would have been good.||Was given a bottle of wine on leaving, which was a...

The pitches had enough space, but roads were very tight for motorhomes. It was busy and quite crammed in in early September.
Staff were excellent, friendly and spoke excellent English. We were grateful that when we lost our key card, the staff later told us they had found it.
Price was extravagant. It was around €75 per night for 2 adults, 1 child and a dog. Electric was €7 per day.
The swimming pool was nothing special. The slide goes into the deep pool, which was a bit deep for me to stand in. There is an 0.8m children's pool. Unfortunately we weren't aware of the rule in Italy that bathing hats are always required. They are sold at the pool for €3 or €2 at Gigante. The playground is much more impressive. There is a noticeboard with times for entertainment at the arena, but nothing easily found online.
The Gigante supermarket at the edge of the campsite- 5 min walk from our pitch - was probably the best thing about the site.
The other end of the site gives access to the lake.
Toilets were decent, and there are waste disposal points at each toilet block. However, because it's quite open aired, that meant the showers were always exposed to the smells from waste disposal. Hot showers is a bit of an exaggeration in the mornings.
The location was handy and there are shops and restaurants within easy walking distance.
Overall, I was quite underwhelmed by the site for the cost. Everything was decent enough and okay - we would come back. It may just be the location that adds to the price, but I would look elsewhere first. I think €45-50 per night would have been...
