Calaponte Marina — Attraction in Polignano a Mare

At this port, you can easily book anything from a private yacht to a small boat or even a guided sightseeing tour around Polignano a Mare. The small boat we took had eight people on board — one was the captain, and the other seven were tourists who came to enjoy the trip and explore the local attractions.

We were absolutely thrilled with the boat ride! 🛥️ After the full sightseeing tour, they let you swim near the boat, which was really fun and refreshing. You can even jump into the water straight from the boat — such a cool experience!

The only downside to this place is that most of the public restrooms are either closed or broken. There’s no option to take a shower after swimming in the salty sea, and unfortunately, the toilet cabins have a very strong and unpleasant smell.

There is no designated place to change clothes, so you have to do it in the restroom, which is not very...

Più che un Porticciolo, questa conca di mare, è un vero grande Porto, allargato man mano negli ultimi anni di questo nuovo secolo, con l'adesione di Polignano a Mare, all' UNESCO! Da piccolo Porto, dove attaccavano poche imbarcazioni, oggi, è diventato un Porto a tutti gli effetti! Comprende una vasta insenatura artificiale di mare, con pontili, passerelle, varie penisole precostruite anche queste ; marciapiedi, e punti di sosta e di fissaggio per le biciclette! Al suo interno, c'è un autentico microcosmo a sé, con : Caffetteria, Ristorante, Aree di sosta e di Ristoro, e al suo esterno, vari parcheggi per le auto! E il tutto, immerso, e circondato da un mare fantastico, oltre-oceano, che fa davvero sognare avventure straordinarie, da intraprendere solamente! Ed è un Porto, un Approdo sicuro per qualsiasi tipo d'imbacazione : dalle più minuscole, ai Motoscafi, ai Panfili, e ai veri Vascelli! D'estate, è un Porto molto popolato, sia dalle imbarcazioni, che dai loro marinai e comandanti, e, la bellezza di questo luogo, incavato nel mare, e punteggiato da Velieri di ogni dimensione, è ben visibile dalla Statale 16, per alcuni chilometri! One small hint for you is that better to get there in summer so you can not only have the sightseeing but also have a chance to swim in Adriatic Sea. Can’t wait to came back...
