I so wanted to love this place - but sadly it falls short on many things.||We travelled for a wedding - there is no reception here so once checked in ( guy in a cupboard ) your on your own.||No communal facilities apart from a tiny ( 4 small tables) breakfast room. The spa was closed and the swimming pool seen in the pictures is the owners and not for use.||We had a problem with our air con and had to have a very long what’s app conversation to get someone out to look at it ( once we had been checked in at 1 the guy left) and he really didn’t want to come back and sort it☹️||The breakfast was lovely but very limited and sparse. We were a party of 7 and often there were only 3/4 rolls cooked and when we asked for more although it was done it felt like we were being an inconvenience. ||Rooms were lovely and spotless but despite being a family of 4 we were left 3 towels daily ☹️and one toilet roll - again anytime we asked it felt like we shouldn’t have. ||There is nothing around the accommodation apart from the little beach so it’s important to make sure you have plans for check out day (11am) - we were getting picked up at 1.30 so needed to keep a room to store cases ( as no communal facilities) and to enable us to use a toilet etc. After another what’s app chat the ‘owner’ agreed for an extra cost of €20 but our spare key was taken out of the light switch so no aircon 😩||At over €330 a night I felt we were a little...

I absolutely love the way the staff texted to make sure I arrived in Bari and asked when I would be on my way to Polignano a Mare. ||||The room was decorated beautifully; modern with a touch of old world charm. ||||It took us a while to figure out the rain shower, but when we did it was awesome. I love the terra cloth beach bags in each room and the quickness of the turn down service. Always, plenty of towels, too. I do wish there was more than one bed in the rooms, though. Alas, the sleeper sofa was quite nice. ||||Breakfast was delightful every morning- our waiter was a teenager who had mastered English, a relief for clueless Americans! Because we checked out before breakfast the hotel was kind enough to put some to-go breakfast items in our room the night before. ||||Other notes: You can park inside a secure gated area, but parking is limited and it can be a bit of a fuss to...
Read moreThe place was very clean, modern and felt comfortable! They offered free parking available on hotel property which was very nice since everywhere else we were staying we had to pay a lot. We also forgot to bring towels for the beach so they were kind enough to lend us some! Overall great stay! We enjoyed it here! If we come back, we would...
