Ristorante Cala Ponte — Restaurant in Polignano a Mare

Went with 2 kids. Came in at 20.15. Ordered 4 primi and 3 secondo, water and Vino della Casa. Received water... No wine. After asking wine was finally received . At 21.30 the primi arrived. Other tables that Came in later were already served. After finishing the staff asked if we wanted coffee or Dolce 😀... We are now around 21.50... no no we Ordered a secondo... At 22.10 we said the kids are tired.. what's going on? Can we just play, we had enough. No sir you secondo is already being prepared. Well at 22.40 it arrived... ( Polpo al forno , does'nt need that long... So we just paid and left. This restaurant uses tourist as cash cows.. it has been a long time ago we experienced something like this in Italy.. Really really sad to see. We ate good in Puglia... But we Will never eat again...

The worst experience ever... Our server looked miserable the entire time. It was too obvious he did Not want to be there 🤦🏻. We literally had to flag him down every time we needed anything (ie. Order olives, bread, a drink, etc.) For dinner we ordered the Lobster. Take a look at my shell... Yes, almost empty, and so was my wife's... As if they kept half of the tail meat for something else 🤦🏻. The pasta was waaaay undercooked, and the whole thing looked like a Pomodoro Soup 🤦🏻......

Se volete maltrattamenti consiglio vivacemente!!! Ho prenotato per le 20.00 per 22 agosto con 3 giorni anticipo,(tramite whatsapp) me hanno accettato prenotazione, senza dirmi che il cuoco arriva con fortuna 20.30 cosa che ho saputo dopo di aspettare e passare un cattivo momento... quindi abbiamo arrivato puntuale come si deve, abbiamo trovato come 4 ragazze 1 signora con sguardo di fastidio, con cellulare in mano ogni una, prigreza piu che evidente.... ho chiesto se sarebbe possibile sedersi al tavolo me hanno detto che non era possibile sedersi tavolo (comunque era vuoto) "se volete prendere qualcosa di bere nello sgabello della entrata", per stupida ho accettato, il vino qualità scadente 5€ il calice, dopo il mio stanco di aspettare, ho chiesto il conto (chiamando 3 volte fra tempo che tutte erano al cellulare ancora) neanche li me hanno detto il cuoco arriva 20.30 me dispiace, con evidente fastidio hanno presso 12 € ... quella che mi colpisce di più la signora anziana che non rispetta la sua età con comportamento di bambina irrispettosa non so chi era ma dovrebbero avere vergogna.... perché una signora non si comporta in...
