Bellissimo posto da visitare, soprattutto per gli amanti della storia. L’ingresso è gratuito. Si tratta di un cimitero gestito da un ente tedesco che viene finanziato in parte anche dalle donazioni dei visitatori. Il posto è sicuramente ben curato; è presente all’ingresso una bellissima targa bronzea dove risulta raffigurata la geografia del centro Italia: stiamo parlando dei momenti immediatamente successivi allo sbarco delle truppe alleate ad Anzio, nel corso della seconda guerra mondiale. La sede in cui è stato realizzato questo cimitero fu teatro di aspri combattimenti fra le truppe dell’Asse e gli Alleati.
