This place has been in his family for generations and for this reasons we need to be grateful for the opportunity to see the marvelous view, hear the details about the islands plants and history of the place from a local. We recommend this place and hope to return and still have the chance to see it again. Il giardino è privato per cui bisogna chiedere al proprietario, che è molto disponibile, se è possibile visitarlo e se vuole guidarci nella visita. L'accesso non è più dove segnato da Google ma dall'abitazione del suddetto proprietario, potete chiedere info agli isolani su come contattarlo. Vorrei esordire dicendo a chi è abituato a bazzicare giardini botanici che questo non è un giardino botanico, non in senso classico, almeno. È un giardino privato di una villa, molto grande e il signore che lo possiede lo gestisce per lo più da solo, non vi aspettate piante centenarie, cartellini e serre ricolme di piante esotiche. È un luogo pieno di storia con molte piante interessanti che vivono bene in questo ambiente. Se avete la fortuna di essere guidati nella vostra visita dal proprietario potrete gustare al meglio ogni centimetro di questo giardino, insieme alla dolce setter e al canto dei vari uccellini ospitati in diverse voliere in più punti del parco. Nel punto più alto, al centro di una terrazza con una vista semplicemente mozzafiato, potrete spiare attraverso i vetri delle finestre un salottino con vari cimeli, una piccola wunderkammer che racconta la storia della famiglia proprietaria del terreno. Un posto unico! Il posto perfetto per conoscere non solo la flora del luogo ma anche la sua storia. Biagio, il dottore che ha creato e gestisce il giardino botanico, é un grande conoscitore sia di botanica che di storia. Il giardino botanico é situato in un posto dai panorami mozzafiato. La visita va prenotata telefonicamente, il giardino botanico non ha un ingresso visibile dalla strada ma Biagio verrà a prendervi all'inizio della visita. Questo é un posto da non perdere!

A stunning place! This is the perfect place to learn not only about plants but also about Ponza's history. Biagio, the doctor that established and run the garden, is a connoisseur of botany as well as the history of Ponza and the surrounding islands. The garden has stunning views and the visit at sunset is a must! The visit needs to be booked by phone.
