Spiaggia Chiaia — Attraction in Procida

This beach is a long one, and there's two sides to it.

One is the DIRTY BEACH side, which is closest to the nice coloured houses. The sand and water are filthy, which is a shame because the view is amazing.

The other half is very cute, great view too, nice restaurant for a sit-down meal or just a snack (el Conchiglie). You go down a set a of stairs (179, so be ready!).

Amazing view and nice and quiet on a warm Feb day. The sea looks clear but I saw some not so nice things floating in it. Also lots of plastic debris along the beach which is just so sad that such a pretty idyllic spot has so much plastic on it. One end did the beach was a bit cleaner, maybe in summer it’s kept cleaner but sad that it’s an issue in the first place and people don’t dispose of their plastic responsibly. Fantastic beach, not too busy despite the many boats just outside it, try not to offend the locals by getting in their space in the middle between the two cafés, we saw nothing saying something was private but got told we shouldn't be there. There's plenty of space anyway.
