A great ski resort very well taken care of and the tracks prepared till perfection to really enjoy the whole day of skiing. There are several cabins where you can get served food or drinks - in the smaller ones a bit less offer but more traditionalist food (sausages, fried eggs, fried potatoes), in the bigger cabins closer to the top there is a lot of offer but a bit pricey. Ski slopes are family friendly, marked well with the difficulty levels and they are wide enough that even during the crowded times it is pleasant enough to ski. I recommend you to download the app - My dolomiti - where you can track the occupancy of the tracks, ski lifts and even your daily progress of how many kilometers on tracks or meters in altitude you have made (if you turn on the GPS tracking).

This is the lift you take to visit the museums on top of Kronplatz, regardless if you’re skiing or not. You can buy tickets at the same cashier desk as the people going skiing or use the self service kiosk. We received admission to two museums and the lift ride for two adults for just under €100. It is worth it! Parking is relatively cheap and you receive 60 minutes free. We ended up paying only €2 for 3 hours of parking.

The ride itself was nice and we had a tram to ourselves. Check in/out is electronic and there is no assistance in boarding or disembarking. I noticed the trams weren’t being cleaned frequently as there was trash thrown about. The plexiglass was scarred and marked so don’t plan on getting great photos. The ride itself was smooth and nice. For two adults the cost was €98 which included the MMM Corona Museum at the top. The views are great and there is a lot to do including a huge swing called the Skyscraper. Mountain bikers will be in paradise as well as hikers. We spend about 6 hours exploring, dining, and shopping.

Heerlijke plaats om te vertoeven bij zonnig weer. Prachtig uitzicht. Lekker in de ligzetels liggen met een heerlijk drankje. Om 12 uur begint de klok te luiden, best oordopjes meenemen😁. Bij verlies/ diefstal of per ongeluk een verwisseling van je 🎿 kan je daar steeds terecht bij de vriendelijke carabinieri👍. Het museum van Messner ligt hier op op enkele honderd meters stappen. Zeker de moeite om te bezoeken, Alleen al de architectuur is prachtig. Een ander museum van Messner bevindt zich in Bruneck = nog meer interessant of beter gezegd SUPER! Er worden van hieruit duozit parapente georganiseerd. Best doen bij helder weer voor een mooi zicht op de vallei. Veel plezier.

Mit stetiger Geschwindigkeit geht es den Berg hinauf, die Aussicht wird immer grandioser, vor allem weil hinter dem gegenüberliegenden Bergzug, durch den sich das Ahrntal schneidet, ebenso stetig die schneebedeckten Gipfel der Zillertaler Alpen emporwachsen. Oben ist der Ausblick grandios, der Rundwanderweg B ermöglicht über drei Stunden Genuss beim Blick auf Berg und Tal: Bruneck, Olanger Stausee, Dolomiten, Marmolada. Und am Abend (letzte Talfahrt 17 Uhr) das ganze Spiel rückwärts: Mit der stetigen Abwärtsfahrt ziehen sich auch die Zillertaler Alpen wieder zurück.

Abbiamo frequentato Plan de Corones nel periodo di Capodanno e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti degli impianti di risalita. Le funivie si sono rivelate pulite, comode, accoglienti e soprattutto veloci. Sono ben curate e lo staff si è dimostrato estremamente disponibile. Un aspetto da sottolineare è la presenza di alcuni impianti dotati di sedili riscaldati, con riscaldamento autonomo controllato da sensori: un dettaglio tecnologico davvero apprezzabile. Ottima la qualità e l’innovazione della tecnologia utilizzata, che rende l’esperienza ancora più confortevole!
