Quite compact grotto, and quite close to the surface, but with a fantastic range of formations including big ones. As the custodian pointed out, it is all the more amazing that such formations should have appeared in a grotto so near the surface. The initial access is down a few turns of a spiral metal staircase and after that the distance to be walked and the number of steps up and down are not great, so people of limited stamina will probably be OK. Our guide, Davide, walked us through the cave giving us all the details with complete professionalism.
