If you haven't seen it yet, you've missed something. Fabilandia is an entertainment park that's a little different from the others. And I mean that in the best possible way.
The park was built in 1965 and extends around a large lake. The attractions have been expanded over the years, but the charm of a mature structure is evident everywhere. Plenty of greenery and tall trees provide shade, and there's a diverse mix of smaller attractions, bouncy castles, rides, roller coasters, and themed structures.
The rides aren't wild, but their charm comes from the ambiance. With a lot of imagination and attention to detail, magical places have been created that children can immerse themselves in; whether it's traveling through the earth on a worm and seeing gnomes, riding a wagon through Merlin's castle in a ghost train-like manner, or riding a minecart through a gold mine. The park captivates with its charming atmosphere. Despite its age, the buildings and rides are in very good condition. The park is a magical place that stands out very positively from other parks where commercialization is paramount. At Fiabilandia, almost everything is included in the admission price; be it a boat ride on a paddle steamer, a train ride, the many roller coasters, or the go-kart track. The target audience is clearly families with younger children up to approximately ten years old. Our seven-year-old son thoroughly enjoyed the park. The centerpiece seems to be a circus that delivers a wonderful, comic, acrobatic, and magical show at a very high level. If you visit the park, don't miss the circus. There are two other shows, one in the Western town and a musical theater.
A day ticket for a family with one child costs €58 and is also valid the next day. So, for this price, you can visit the park for two days. However, you will need to get a wristband at the exit for re-entry the next day. We were there during the Whitsun holidays in June and hardly ever had to wait in line for longer than three minutes. Often, we were able to get straight onto the next train. For us, it was the most beautiful family-friendly entertainment park we have ever visited, and we will definitely be back. For us adults, it was a dream trip back to our own childhood and a relaxing time in a beautiful atmosphere. Between the individual attractions, we were able to sit in the shade, watch the waterfowl or fish, or relax on one of the loungers in Maui Bay.
Two suggestions: a gold washing area where kids can find "gold" and by washing out sand with pans would be a great interactive experience. Maybe the train could run more constantly on a regular basis...
Read moreAt first we were quite sceptical of even going there due to some unkind reviews regarding cleanliness etc. Our family of 5, including two girls 4 and 6 took the short 10 minute walk from our place at the beach, bought discounted tickets at hotel Sandra and continued on. First impression upon entering: clean and quiet.. the line at the first ride was maybe 20 people at 11am so we skipped it and continued on. At subsequent rides the wait was no longer than 2 minutes, on most of them we were able to get off and right back on without wait. We did bring our own food and drinks and were able to picnic at the waterslide area where the children played in the waterpark with forays to the neighboring rides. We did spend a solid 6 hours and both the children as well as the adults enjoyed it very much. So much so that they wanted to go for a second day. Yes, some of the rides were dated but not near as bad as some commenters make it seem nor did we see anything dangerous. All in all a enjoyable experience but most importantly, the children had a great time. Recommended for children from 2 to about 10 years old. Bring your swimclothes and food/ drinks. Con: not all rides were active, some areas under renovation, time of shows not stated clearly so we missed the circus, happened upon it on the tailend by accident. 5 stars for quiet and no lines as well as kids satisfaction. A decent value for the entry fees and a more solid experience than disney in paris due to the absence of wait times and little walking required. So, if it does not have to be the latest adrenalin rush and high tech experience, this definitely is a place to visit and an alternative to every day at the beach. Would we go again: a definite yes as our kids wont stop talking...
Read moreQuite expensive, car park need to be paid separately. £24 for an adult meal 17 for child 5£ for car park. All the rides are quite old and dated. Rude staff. We went into a ride with our 2and half years old where we thought is age appropriate and it wasn’t as for all the rides there is no preview of what it is to come and she got so scared in the tunnels as it was quite high speed and shaky and abrupt. She then did not want to use other train rides. On the ticket it says you can use it for two consecutive days and in order to do that you need to let them know at one of the snack station before exit. We went there the lady was so rude and rushed us as she said she needed to close this was around middle of the day… then she asked us to put on some bracelets and wear them until the next day when we will come back for our second visit. I said I do not want to wear it till them as they are quite uncomfortable, if there is not another way she then shouted back saying no if you want to come you wear them and not take them off. I felt really not valued as a customer and would never come back. Not a good value for money at all. There are better park in Italy this is the worst one. If you come back second day you have to pay again for car park. Overall very pricey and not...
