Should be 3 zeroes. The three of us ordered the Arugula salad with mozzarella and ham. First bite at the cheese, I knew it was off. It was rotten. I have eaten mozzarella thousands of times in my many decades of life and all over the world and I know for sure it does not taste like that. When I told the hostess she replied “That’s impossible and walked away” My children were embarrassed to say anything, but admitted to me that it was bad tasting. Much later, a waiter came over, slammed a bucket on the table, Put an empty plate on the table and then tapped his work on the plate very fast about 10 times. He spoke no words. I took my mozzarella ball and placed it on his plate. He then lifted the plate up, all of this was happening very fast. My daughter-in-law did not understand what was happening, then he said “ I can’t grab it with my hands. I’m not allowed to touch it.” I told her to put her mozzarella on his plate. She was confused because she had cut hers into pieces before eating and wasn’t sure if she was allowed to spear all the pieces (about 10 pieces) and put them on his plate. So there was perhaps a 2 to 3 second max delay. He then said “ I’m sorry to make you work so hard as to lift your plate.” Our table was completely shocked. Then he grabbed a knife and a bag with fresh mozzarella in it and with great drama pierced the bag and said “You see this is fresh, it’s from the same bucket.” Each of us agreed that it was fresh and the real mozzarella taste and was much better than the previous mozzarella. With a menacing smile he looked at me and said “The customer is always right. We must make the customer happy no matter what we think.” Between the hostess (an older woman) and the waiter with the curly hair Mohawk, I can say with great certainty that it was the worst service I have ever encountered anywhere, out of thousands of restaurants around the world. Their actions told us they would have allowed us to get food poisoning. If they don’t care that they serve rotten cheese then I would be very nervous about their seafood, which was 90% of the menu. 3 salads, a side of potatoes and a side of grilled vegetables and 14 euro Aperol Spritz served in a Prosecco glass came to 107 Euros. If zero stars was an option, they would receive all three zeros. How can the atmosphere be good when you are treated poorly and you know they don’t care if you get sick from their food. After experiencing remarkably kind service, impeccable presentation and outstanding breakfast food at Residenza Amalphia, and outstanding service and view in Villa Maria in Ravello, this Zodiac restaurant was a complete shock. I don’t know how they get away with it. Don’t let them....
Read moreNormally I'm not the type of person to write reviews, but I can hardly contain myself not to write a review. I am in a short vacation in Rimini and since I've been to some restaurants around I personally find this restaurant one of the best I have ever experienced. The personal is good trained, well dressed and very friendly. The tables are well prepared, always clean and tidy with a beautiful white and blue colour that goes well with the beach thematic. Now the best part, the food. The freshness and quality of the products are just like a dream made in heavens that will definitely teleport you in a different dimension. It is important to eat somewhere where the food is fresh and they have fresh ingredients and this place will bring you som' of that good good grandma's food. If you are looking for a good restaurant and to eat properly and be treated well you should definitely try this restaurant. I as a Executive Chef with Michelin working experience, I travelled almost the whole Europe and I experienced many restaurant's and many kitchen's, I strongly recommend this restaurant for a moment of enjoyment and to respect yourself with some excelent food. Many thanks to the kitchen staff and to the service staff who are working extremely hard. I wish you all the best and I hug you all.

Read moreBased on the ratings, we have decided to go to this restaurant. In the begining everything was okay. At the entrance, nice lady found us a free table even though we did not have a reservation. From there it went downhill. We had to wait for 10 minutes to even get the menu which is also sort of okay considering the amount of guests in there but still that is not my problem. When we finally had a chance to make and order, the food came fairly quick except for one dish which was kind of embarasing because when we were finishing our meals, the last dish was just brought. But then it all happened, the waiters and waitresses were just passing our table left and right for good 10 minutes though we were finished. After they cleaned our table, we were feeling like having a desert but after another 15 minutes of ignorance, we called it a day a decided to pay by the cashier. The man behind the counter was so terribly rude (probably because we did not wait by the table) so when we asked him to split the bill, he smiled ironically, said no and gave us the whole receipt. We will definitely spare our money elsewhere next time where they value their guests and do not treat them like cashcows.
