restaurant with good food but untrained service. the previous day we had a very good meal we spent over 100 euro we decided to come back the next day. after ordering the dishes, the waiter stated that I could not sit with my feet on the chair (I was explaining to him from the previous day, I was sitting with my legs in this way all the time) we were thrown out by the waiter and we could not eat dinner. the behavior of this waiter is unacceptable and affects the reviews of the entire restaurant. we travel all over the world and this is the first time we met such a cheeky waiter!!! photos added from the day before when a nice...

Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per otto persone, quattro coppie. Prima di farlo ho chiamato attorno all’una per chiedere se fossero attrezzati per accogliere mia moglie, celiaca. Mi rassicurano con convinzione: nessun problema, tranne i fritti ovviamente. Chiedo esplicitamente se possono preparare un sauté di cozze senza glutine. Mi dicono di sì, che lo fanno spesso, che hanno già avuto altri clienti celiaci e che sono stati tutti bene. Mi fido, e prenotiamo.

Arriviamo verso le 20. Mia moglie chiede le cozze, come da accordi. Ci viene risposto che non ci sono. Chiediamo spiegazioni, visto che sono presenti nel menù. Ci dicono che le usano solo per i piatti con la pasta, e che preparare una porzione di cozze da sola “le farebbe sprecare”. A una persona celiaca che non può mangiare pasta si nega quindi una semplice porzione di cozze, perché servono per fare piatti col glutine. In tutta onestà, oltre alla delusione, ho trovato questa risposta anche un po’ crudele.

Il resto della cena è stato abbastanza buono, niente di speciale, e sicuramente non a buon mercato.

A un certo punto mi alzo dal tavolo, per fortuna, perché una cameriera inciampa e rovescia due Coca-Cola e diversi bicchieri vuoti proprio dove ero seduto. Mia moglie, che invece era rimasta lì, si prende una bella bagnata. Nessuna vera scusa, solo un “eh, capita”. Come gesto di scuse ci portano una fetta di ciambellone tagliato a pezzi. Ovviamente con glutine. Dopo tutto quello che era successo, nemmeno si sono presi la briga di chiedere chi fosse la persona celiaca.

Un vero peccato, perché bastava un po’ più di attenzione, sia in cucina che in sala....

You are entering a gambling game here, as both "wonderful food" and "horrid wait times" reviews were even for our 7 people company. Drinks arrived in parts in about 20 minutes total after sitting, pizza followed another 5, then mussels took about 30 more, then shrimps in about 20 more. On and on, it took more than 1 hour for some to start eating. Excuses like "it's a fresh seafood, portions must be served together" do not change the fact of wait time. Food is good, but you have been warned, it's your choice to...
