Spiaggia Aciddara — Attraction in Santa Flavia

The best beach in the neighborhood. It’s spacious, clean (for Sicily standards) and there is no weird stuff in the water. Highly recommend taking water shoes and an umbrella since there is really no shadow there. No toilets as well. Si accede alla spiaggia dopo un percorso di circa 300 mt. tra ville private che hanno pensato bene di posizionare un cancello altezza statale per vietare l'accesso e già questo dovrebbe scandalizzare ma qui in zona è praticamente la normalità! Bisogna aver prima la fortuna di trovare un posto libero per l'auto nel piazzale adiacente al cimitero e non è una cosa semplice. La spiaggia è di sabbia e brecciolina con fondale sabbioso. È una delle più ampie in zona ma è sporca di plastica, fazzoletti e cicche di sigarette. Nonostante ciò, tra quelle visitate in zona a Bagheria è una delle più pulite e con un mare molto limpido. L'abusivismo edilizio negli anni ha devastato il posto e il comune di Santa Flavia, piuttosto che combatterlo, emana ordinanze che vietano ai cani di accedere alle poche spiagge...
