I have been staying down the street from this restaurant for the past month while I explore Sicily. They have the best arancini carne that I have had in Sicily. The perfect rice to meat ratio with wonderful flavor. The staff have been so kind to me as a tourist who speaks very little Italian but tries hard. They've been welcoming, attentive, and friendly. I've loved their pizza and their pasta. Their Sicilian cannolis are fresh and delicious as well. You can get more sophisticated food in Sicily, but this is good, inexpensive every day food. Locale con grandi potenzialità, posizionato in un luogo favoloso ma purtroppo gestito da un signore incompetente che dovrebbe solo andare in pensione: non è in grado di lavorare a contatto col pubblico, maleducato, arrogante, zoticone, irrispettoso e così via col resto dei sinonimi presenti in vocabolario. A quanto pare chiedendo in giro è risaputo che sia con questo bel carattere e leggendo le recensioni viene confermato. Ordiniamo due fette di pesce spada, un piatto di pasta e una frittura di calamari alle 13:40 (da specificare che il locale era mezzo vuoto). Dopo 50 minuti arriva solo il mio piatto di pasta. Io avevo già finito di mangiare da 5 minuti quando innervositi chiediamo informazioni per capire a che punto fossero gli altri piatti. Le cameriere non sapendo cosa dire facevano avanti e indietro dalla cucina dicendo che erano quasi pronti. All’ennesima richiesta (dato che non è normale che su 4 persone una mangia da sola e le altre guardano) stavolta ad un signore che sistemava sedie e tavoli vestito tutto sporco, egli si rivolge urlando lamentandosi che non dovevamo chiedere a lui (nonostante avessimo scoperto dopo fosse il proprietario) e che lui era sveglio dalle 5 che ha lavorato tutto il giorno e che in cucina hanno avuto problemi per cui se non volevamo aspettare potevamo alzarci e andare via. Rispondendo che se lo avessimo saputo saremmo andati via prima di sederci dato che avevamo un impegno alle 15 ed erano già le 14:45, lui continuava a rispondere in malo modo ad alta voce dicendo anche frasi esagerate. Finalmente sono arrivati gli altri piatti dopo più di un’ora di attesa anche se io avevo già finito e gli altri stavano iniziando… per cocludere il cibo non era neanche un granché…aspettare tutto questo tempo per poi mangiare male non c’è motivo! Specialmente se uno esce per rilassarsi e deve trovare dei porci ad accoglierti. Non ci andate mai neanche per il caffè. Poveri dipendenti sicuramente sottopagati e...

The breakfast is great and very cheap I highly recommend that! On the other hand, when we went back for dinner the other day our expedience wasn't that great. Rude waitresses, not a single nice word, judging looks (we spoke italian so we weren't the rude tourists) all together 0/5 customer service. The food costs half as much as the other restaurants nearby but the quality is the half as well. It is kinda ironic that we are sitting right next to the sea and they serve FROZEN frutti di mare (it was even writte. on the menu). Do not reccomend it unless you want to eat something...
